GUITAR AS AN IDEAS FOR CREATING METAL ART CRAFT IN CUSTOM MOTOR TANK MEDIA

Abstrak

Didalam karya ini penulis berfokus terhadap alat musik petik yang mempunyai peran penting terhadap dunia musik dan juga karena penulis juga senang bermain gitar setiap hari untuk mengisi waktu luang dan sebagai media pengekspresian suasana hati. Alat musik yang menjadi inspirasi penulis tersebut adalah gitar. Berfokus terhadap alat musik gitar yang kemudian direalisasikan oleh penulis pada karya kriya logam. Penerapan ide gitar sebagai objek yangdiimplementasikan pada tangki motor custom.Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya meliputi eksplorasi dan perancangan. Dalam hal ini eksplorasi dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data & referensi melalui sumber-sumber berupa buku, artikel, wawancara, serta gambar yang menyangkut tentang gitar dan motor custom. Perancangan dilakukan dengan menuangkan ide-ide hasil temuan kedalam bentuk visual berupa sketsa-sketsa alternatif sebagai pradesain,kemudian dari sejumlah desain sketsa ditentukan beberapa sketsa terbaik sebagai rancangan terpilih untuk diwujudkan pada karya kriya logam.Hasil penciptaan karya dengan judul “Gitar Sebagai Ide Penciptaan Karya Kriya Logam Pada Media Tangki Motor Custom” ini yaitu yang pertama dengan judul “Eternal”, kedua dengan judul “Unification”, dan yang terakhir dengan judul “Connection”yang semuanya menggunakan teknik wudulan dalam pembuatannya, yang semuanya terbuat dari logam plat tembaga dengan ketebalan 0,5 mm serta masing-masing karya diimplementasikan terhadap tangki motor custom.

Abstract

In this work the author focuses on stringed musical instruments which have an important role in the world of music and also because the author also enjoys playing the guitar every day to fill his spare time and as a medium for expressing moods. The musical instrument that inspired the writer is the guitar. Focusing on guitar musical instruments which the author then realized in metal craft works. Application of the idea of a guitar as an object that is implemented on a custom motorcycle tank. The methods used in the creation of works include exploration and design. In this case the exploration was carried out by collecting data & references through sources in the form of books, articles, interviews, as well as pictures concerning custom guitars and motorbikes. The design is carried out by pouring the ideas found into a visual form in the form of alternative sketches as pre-designs, then from a number of design sketches the best sketches are determined as the selected designs to be realized in metal craft works. The results of the creation of works with the title "Guitar as an Idea for Creating Metal Craft Works on Custom Motorcycle Tank Media" are the first with the title "Eternal", the second with the title "Unification", and the last with the title "Connection", all of which use the technique of ablution in production, all of which are made of copper plate metal with a thickness of 0.5 mm and each work is implemented on a custom motorcycle tank.
