Pengembangan Media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) MCU (Media of Cultural Understanding) Pemahaman keragaman Budaya ini berisi mengenai konsep keberagaman budaya di di indonesia, berbagai macam jenis keberagaman di Indonesia, disertai contoh berupa video dan animasi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Selain itu media ini juga dilengkapi dengan contoh permasalan dan bagaimana membina keragaman di lingkungan sekitar. Agar pemahaman siswa dapat diasah media ini juga memiliki permaianan (game) yang memuat contoh interaksi keragaman yang dapat ditemui di sekitar siswa. Selain itu terdapat pula buku panduan pengoperasian media yang berfungsi agar konselor dapat menggunakan media dengan lebih mudah. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg&Gall (2003). Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan media CAI sebagai media berbasis computer yang memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas yang terdiri atas aspek kegunaan, kelayakan, ketepatan, dan kepatutan. Hasil penilaian kualitatif dari 2 validator materi dan media serta calon pengguan di dapatkan hasil 90,15% dengan kriteria “sangat baik, tidak perlu direvisi” dari ahli media, 89,6% dari ahli materi dan 89,17% dengan kriteria “sangat baik, tidak perlu direvisi” dari calon pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian secara kuantitatif tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpuan bahwa Media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) MCU (Media of Cultural Understanding) sebagai media pemahaman keragaman budaya untuk siswa SMP N 1 Tuban memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas dan dapat digunakn disekolah jenjang SMP/ sederajat.
The development of CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) MCU (Media of Cultural Understanding) as a media to Understanding of Cultural Diversity contains the cultural diversity concept in Indonesia, various types of diversity in Indonesia, equipped with examples of interesting video and animation that can easily understood by student. This media is also equipped with examples of problems and how to foster diversity in the surrounding environment. In order for student to understand, this media equipped with a game which contains examples of diversity interactions that can be found around students. In addition there are also media operating manual book so counselor can use this media easily. This media development method use the Borg & Gall development model (2003). the purpose of this research is to produce CAI media as a computer-based that meet the acceptability criteria consisting of aspects of usability, appropriateness, accuracy, and propriety aspect. The results of the qualitative assessment of 2 material and media expert validators and potential user the result were 90.15% with the criteria "very good, no need to be revise" from media experts, 89,6% with the criteria "very good, no need revised " of material experts and 89.17% with the criteria "very good, no need revised "of potential users. Based on the results of the quantitative assessment, it can be concluded that CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) MCU (Media of Cultural Understanding) as a media to understanding of cultural diversity for students of junior high scool state 1 Tuban meets the acceptability criteria and can be used in junior high school / equivalent.
