Permasalahan rendahnya minat baca di Indonesia perlu ditangani dengan menumbuhkan kebiasaan membaca sejak dini. Kebiasaan membaca dapat terwujud apabila telah tumbuh minat baca dalam diri seseorang. Oleh karena itu, guru sebagai pengelola kelas harus bisa menyesuaikan antara tujuan dengan tahap perkembangan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik story reading dalam gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa kelas 1 SD di Lamongan.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, yaitu quasi experimental design. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent control group design yang terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. tahapan penelitian terdiri dari tiga, yaitu pretest, treatment, dan posttest. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas 1A dan 1B SDN Kepatihan Lamongan yang berjumlah 29 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah siswa kelas 1A SDN Sidoharjo Lamongan yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil analisis uji T dua sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) yang dihasilkan adalah 0,003. Hasil tersebut lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik story reading dalam gerakan literasi sekolah berpengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa kelas 1 SD di Lamongan.

The students’ lack of reading interest in Indonesia need to be handled by developing reading habits since in the early age. It can be accomplished since the person has an interest in the reading. Furthermore, reading interest is not taken from granted, but it needs to be grown and developed by adults in a attractive way. Therefore, the teacher as the class administrator must be able to adjust between the goals and stages of student development. The purpose of this study to seek the effect of story reading techniques in the school literacy movement toward reading interest in the first grade of elementary student at Lamongan.
The type of research used was an experiment, namely quasi experimental design.The research design used was a non-equivalent control group design consisting of two groups, there were the experimental class and the control class. The research stages consisted of three, which were pretest , treatment , and posttest . The research sample was students of grades 1A and 1B at SDN Kepatihan Lamongan, which totally 29 students as the experimental class. Meanwhile the control class was grade 1A students at SDN Sidoharjo Lamongan, which amounts to 24 students. Data collection techniques used were tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation.
The results of the T test analysis of two independent samples indicated a significant value. (2-tailed) produced was 0.003. The results revealed that it was smaller than the significance level of 0.05, so that H 0 was rejected and H a was accepted. It could be concluded that the story reading technique in the school literacy movement could influence the reading interest of grade 1 elementary school students at Lamongan.
