This study uses the design of research and development (R & D), with the pre-experimental method of one group pretest-posttest. The research data was obtained through essay tests to measure students' critical thinking skills. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-test analysis technique to measure the average difference of the samples taken and the N-gain test to measure the effectiveness of a learning model. Based on statistical calculations with the help of SPSS 16.0 on the Paired Sample T-Test obtained a significance value of 0,000. Significance Value 0,000 <0,05 assuming Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So that it can be concluded that there are significant differences in students' critical thinking skills before and after getting the treatment of the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models assisted by Google Drive media. The results of the N-gain test calculation obtained the average N-gain value of students above 0.70 with medium and high criteria. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model aided by google drive media has an effective influence on students' critical thinking abilities.
