Pembelajaran yang tidak menarik menyebabkan siswa menjadi bosan, sehingga tidak bisa menerima pengetahuan. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dianggap mempunyai dampak positif. Dilihat dari manfaat model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, peneliti ingin tahu bahwa model pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang Product Photography. Berdasarkan kondisi objektif di Ekstrakurikuler Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya belum pernah diajarkan pembelajaran fotografi khususnya foto produk. Sedangkan, saat ini di kurikulum Merdeka belajar pada program penerapan P5 sangat dibutuhkan pembelajaran Product Photography guna menunjang program penerapan P5 kewirausahaan di SMA Khadijah Surabaya.
Penelitian Penerapan project based learning (PjBL) materi product photography di ekstrakurikuler Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui proses, hasil karya, serta respon siswa dan guru ekstrakurikuler Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya terkait penerapan project based learning (PjBL) materi product photography di ekstrakurikuler Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, hasil belajar dan angket.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning materi product photography di ekstrakurikuler Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya menunjukkan kualitas sangat baik dengan persentase 97,35%.
Hasil karya Product Photography setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran project Based Learning (PjBL) pada kelompok 1 mendapat nilao 90, kelompok 2 mendapat nilai 100, kelompok 3 mendapat nilai 90 dan kelompok 4 mendapat nilai 80, dari keempat kelompok tersebut menunjukan hasil karya dapat mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal.
Respon peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) menunjukan kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata nilai 83,01%. Penelitian ini juga mendapatkan respon positif dari guru ekstrakurikuler turcham media dengan harapan Output dari kegiatan pembelajaran ini juga bisa dilanjutkan dengan diadakannya workshop bagi siswa di SMA Khadijah guna untuk berbagi ilmu terkait Product Photography.

Learning that is not interesting causes students to become bored, so they cannot receive knowledge. The project-based learning model is considered to have a positive impact. Judging from the benefits of the project-based learning model, researchers want to know that this learning model can be used to increase students' understanding of Product Photography. Based on objective conditions at the Turcham Media Extracurricular, Khadijah High School Surabaya has never been taught photography, especially product photography. Meanwhile, currently in the Merdeka curriculum learning in the P5 implementation program, Product Photography learning is very much needed to support the P5 entrepreneurship implementation program at SMA Khadijah Surabaya.
Research on the application of project based learning (PjBL) product photography material in extracurricular Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya was carried out with the aim of knowing the process, work results, and responses of students and extracurricular teachers at Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya regarding the application of project based learning (PjBL) product photography material in the extracurricular at Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya.
The type of research used is Descriptive Qualitative. Data collection methods are carried out by observation, learning results and questionnaires.
The results of this research show that the implementation of learning using the project based learning model for product photography material in the extracurricular Turcham Media SMA Khadijah Surabaya shows very good quality with a percentage of 97.35%.
The results of Product Photography work after applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in group 1 got a score of 90, group 2 got a score of 100, group 3 got a score of 90 and group 4 got a score of 80, from the four groups it shows that the work can reach the criteria for completion minimum.
Students' responses to the project based learning (PjBL) learning model show a very good category with an average score of 83.01% in the good category. This research also received a positive response from extracurricular teachers at Turcham Media with the hope that the output from this learning activity could also be continued by holding a workshop for students at Khadijah High School to share knowledge related to Product Photography.
