Pengembangan Instrumen Penilaian Literasi Sains Pada Pembelajaran IPA Materi Sistem Ekskresi
Development Of Science Literacy Assessment Instruments In Science Learning Materials Of Excretion Systems
Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen penilaian literasi sains pada materi sistem ekskresi yang valid, efektif, dan praktis. Produk yang dikembangkan yaitu instrumen penilaian berupa butir soal dengan diujicobakan pada 124 peserta didik kelas VIII di dua sekolah di kota yang berbeda. Pengembangan instrumen penilaian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan PPE Richey Klein yang terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap produksi dan tahap evaluasi.
Hasil analisis penelitian meliputi validitas logis yang menunjukkan instrumen penilaian valid dengan skor modus 9. Validitas empiris berdasarkan hasil tes peserta didik diperoleh 9 butir soal valid dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Reliabilitas instrumen penilaian dalam kategori tinggi dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,62. Efektivitas pengecoh pada butir soal yang berfungsi berjumlah 34, dan yang tidak berfungsi berjumlah 2. Tingkat kesukaran, butir soal yang tergolong sukar berjumlah 2 butir (22%) dan kategori sedang berjumlah 7 butir (78%). Daya pembeda, butir soal dengan daya pembeda baik berjumlah 1 butir (11%), daya pembeda cukup berjumlah 4 butir (45%), daya pembeda buruk berjumlah 4 butir (44%). Kepraktisan instrumen penilaian diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 75% dan 85% dengan kategori efektif. Keefektifan instrumen penilaian mencapai pada level 5 yang berada pada kategori praktis. Hasil pengembangan disimpulkan bahwa instrumen penilaian literasi sains pada materi sistem ekskresi dinyatakan valid, efektif, dan praktis.
This study aims to produce scientific literacy assessment instruments on excretory system material that are valid, effective, and practical. The product developed is an assessment instrument in the form of test items which were tested on 124 Grade VIII students at two schools in different cities. The development of this assessment instrument refers to the Richey Klein PPE development model which is divided into three stages, namely the planning stage, the production stage and the evaluation stage.
The results of the research analysis include logical validity which indicates a valid assessment instrument. Empirical validity based on student test results obtained 9 valid questions with a percentage of 100%. The reliability of the assessment instrument is in the high category with a reliability coefficient of 0.62. The effectiveness of the distractor in the items that functioned was 34, and those that did not function were 2. The level of difficulty, items that were classified as difficult were 2 items (22%) and in the medium category were 7 items (78%). Discriminating power, items with good discriminating power totaled 1 item (11%), sufficient discriminating power totaled 4 items (45%), bad discriminating power totaled 4 items (44%). The practicality of the assessment instrument obtained an average percentage of 75% and 85% with the effective category. The effectiveness of the assessment instrument reaches level 5 which is in the practical category. The results of the development concluded that the scientific literacy assessment instrument on excretory system material was declared valid, effective and practical.
