Kemampuan literasi sains menjadi kompetensi esensial abad 21 yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam memahami hubungan antara sains, teknologi, dan masyarakat. Dalam menunjang pengembangan kemampuan ini, diperlukan inovasi strategi pembelajaran berbasis Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran yang relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan media Articulate Storyline berbasis SSI yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik sekolah dasar (SD). Metode penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang mencakup lima tahap. Validitas produk dinilai melalui validasi ahli materi dan media, sedangkan kepraktisan produk diukur melalui angket respons guru dan peserta didik. Efektivitas media diuji menggunakan pretest dan posttest dengan data dianalisis menggunakan uji T Test dan perhitungan N-Gain.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Articulate Storyline berbasis SSI dinyatakan sangat valid dengan hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 87,83%, ahli media sebesar 86,09%. Kepraktisan media dinyatakan sangat baik berdasarkan hasil angket respons guru dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 89,56% dan respon peserta diidk dengan rata-rata skor 88,89%. Efektivitas media menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik, dengan rata-rata nilai posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan pretest. Uji T independent sample yang dilakukan terhadap kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol menghasilkan nilai sig sebesar 0,001 (< 0,05), yang menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan kategori cukup efektif dengan rata-rata 0,66.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, media Articulate Storyline berbasis SSI dinilai valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik SD, serta mampu mengintegrasikan isu-isu SSI dalam pembelajaran secara interaktif.

Science literacy skills are essential 21st century competencies that students must have in understanding the relationship between science, technology and society. In supporting the development of this ability, an innovative learning strategy based on Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) is needed through the development of relevant learning media. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of SSI-based Articulate Storyline media designed to improve the science literacy of elementary school students. The research method uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model which includes five stages. Product validity was assessed through material and media expert validation, while product practicality was measured through teacher and learner response questionnaires. The effectiveness of the media was tested using pretest and posttest with data analyzed using T Test and N-Gain calculation.
The results showed that Articulate Storyline media based on SSI was declared very valid with the results of material expert validation of 87.83%, media experts of 86.09%. The practicality of the media was declared very good based on the results of the teacher response questionnaire with an average score of 89.56% and the response of students with an average score of 88.89%. The effectiveness of the media shows a significant increase in students' science literacy skills, with the average posttest score higher than the pretest. The independent sample T test conducted on the experimental group and control group resulted in a sig value of 0.001 (<0.05), which showed an increase in learning outcomes. The N-Gain test results showed a fairly effective category with an average of 0.66.
Based on the results of this study, Articulate Storyline media based on SSI is considered valid, practical, and effective to improve the science literacy of elementary school students, and is able to integrate SSI issues in learning interactively.
