SURVEI SARANA PRASARANA PENDIDIKAN JASMANI OLAHRAGA DAN
KESEHATAN SMP SE-KECAMATAN AMBULU KABUPATEN JEMBER
A SURVEY ON FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE OF SPORT PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN AMBULU DISTRICT, JEMBER REGENCY
Kemajuan Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di sekolah mempunyai peran krusial untuk memfasilitasi belajar siswa dan menjadi penunjang pencapaian belajar mereka, terutama untuk mata
pelajaran PJOK. Agar hal ini bisa direalisasikan dibutuhkan memadainya sarana prasarana olahraga, karna
jika tidak ada sarana dan prasarana akan menjadi kendala dalam pembelajaran. Siwa cenderung akan
mudah bosan dan aktivitas geraknya juga terhambat. Maka dari itu sarana dan prasarana harus disesuaikan
dengan jumlah siswanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana di
SMP se-Kecamatan Ambulu Kabupaten Jember dengan pupulasi sebanyak 21 sekolah diambil 5 sekolah
menggunakan cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan
mengaplikasikan instrumen PDPJOI 2011. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan sarana dan
prasarana yaitu di dua sekolah masuk kategori C yakni SMPN 2 Ambulu dan SMP Islam Ambulu, 2
sekolah masuk kategori B yakni SMPN 3 Ambulu dan SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo, sedangkan 1
sekolah masuk kategori A yakni SMPN 1 Ambulu. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa
nilai ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang ada di SMP se-Kecamatan Ambulu sebesar 158 masuk
kategori B.

The progress of Sports and Health Physical Education (PE) in schools has a crucial role to facilitate student
learning and to support their learning, especially for Physical Education subjects. In order for this to be
realized, there is a need for adequate sports infrastructure, because if there are no facilities and
infrastructure it will be relevant in learning. Shiva tends to get bored easily and his movement activities are
also hampered. Therefore, the facilities and infrastructure must be adjusted according to the number of
students. The purpose of this study is to measure the facts and infrastructure in junior high schools in
Ambulu Subdistrict, Jember Regency with a population of 21 schools, taken from 5 schools using cluster
random sampling. This study applies a quantitative descriptive method and applies the PDPJOI 2011
instrument. The results show that the indicators of facilities and infrastructure are two schools in category
C namely Junior high school 2 Ambulu and Junior high school Islam Ambulu, 2 schools are in category B
namely Junior high school 3 Ambulu and Junior high school Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo, while 1 school
was in category A, namely Junior high school 1 Ambulu. Based on this value, it can be denied that the
value of the numbers and infrastructure in Junior high schools in Ambulu District of 158 are in category B.
