Kedisiplinan sangat penting dalam pendidikan di sekolah. Guna memupuk siswa memiliki karakter disiplin, banyak cara yang dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak. Salah satunya cara dengan penggunaan buku saku tertib siswa yang MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan diterapkan sejak tahun 2007. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan buku saku tertib siswa dalam mendisiplinkan siswa dan mengukur sejauh mana kedisiplinan siswa MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan.

             Penelitian ini menggunakan teori penguatan perilaku (reinforcement) B.F Skinner. Penguatan perilaku tersebut dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu penguatan positif dengan memberikan penghargaan dan penguatan negatif salah satunya dengan memberikan hukuman kepada siswa.

             Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan angket tertutup, yaitu angket yang telah disediakan pilihan jawaban dari 212 siswa dari MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan dan menggunakan persentase dalam teknik analisis data untuk mengetahui seberapa besar persentase hasil penelitian.

   Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan buku saku tertib siswa dalam mendisiplinkan siswa MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan dinyatakan efektif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan dari 212 responden sekitar 203 atau 96% melalui standar ukuran sikap disiplin yakni 76%. Berdasarkan penggunaan buku saku tertib siswa sebagai media untuk mencatat rekam jejak pelanggaran siswa berguna dalam mengontrol tingkah laku siswa sehingga siswa semakin disiplin. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan buku saku tertib siswa efektif dalam mendisiplinkan siswa MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan.

Discipline is very important in education at school. In order to foster students to have a character of discipline, many ways are carried out by various parties. One way is to use the student orderly pocket book who have applied for MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan since 2007. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the use the student orderly pocket book in disciplining students and measuring the extent of discipline of MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan students.

   This research uses the theory of reinforcement by B.F Skinner. Strengthening these behaviors is divided into 2, namely positive reinforcement by giving appreciation and negative reinforcement by giving punishment to students.

   This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Data retrieval is done using a closed questionnaires, namely questionnaires that had been provided with answer choices from 212 students from MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan and used a percentage in data analysis techniques to find out how large the percentage of the results of the research.

   The results of this research indicate that the use of the student orderly pocket book in disciplining MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan students was declared effective. This is evidenced by the 212 respondents about 203 or 96% through a standard measure of discipline attitude that is 76%. Based on the use of the the student orderly pocket book as a medium to record the track record of student offenses is useful in controlling student behavior so that students become more disciplined. Therefore, the use of the student orderly pocket book is effective in disciplining MTs Negeri 3 Pamekasan students
