Analysis of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes

Artikel ini menganalisis model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS)mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.  Proses  pembelajaran  seharusnya  menyenangkan  bagi  siswa  sehingga  hasil  belajar  dan motivasi belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Namun dalam proses pembelajaran pada umumnya guru lebih sering  menerapkan  model  pembelajaran  konvensional  sehingga  siswa  menjadi  jenuh  dan  kurang bersemangat karena tidak ada variasi pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya metode  pembelajaran  yang  tepat  untuk  merangsang  keaktifan  siswa.  Salah  satu  metode  yang  dapat digunakan  untuk  mengatasi  permasalahan  tersebut adalah  metode  pembelajaran Two  Stay  Two  Stray (TSTS). Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) merupakan metode pembelajaran yang membagi siswa menjadi beberapa  kelompok,  dan  merupakan  metode  pembelajaran  kooperatif  yang  tepat  untuk  mengaktifkan siswa  selama  pembelajaran. Tujuan  dari  penelitian  ini adalah  untuk  mengetahui  model  pembelajaran kooperatif  Two  Stay  Two Stray  dapat  membantu  siswa  dalam  meningkatkan  hasil  belajar.  Metode penelitian  yang  digunakan  ialah  deskriptif  kualitatif  serta  teknik  pengumpulan  data  yang  dipakai peneliti adalah observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik menurut Miles  dan  Huberman: pertama  dengan  reduksi  data,  kedua  penyajian  data  dan  ketiga  menarik kesimpulan.Hasil  penerapan Two  Stay  Two  Stray(TSTS)  yang  diharapkan  guru  adalah  model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar

This article analyzes how the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning method can improve student learning outcomes.The learning process is supposed to be fun for students so that it can increase student motivation and improve student learning outcomes. But in the learning process in general,teachers more often apply conventional learning models so that students become saturated and less excited because there is no variation in the learning process. Thus, the right learning method needs to be applied so that it can stimulate the activeness. The Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning method is one solution to overcome this. Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS)is a learning method in wich students were divided into several group, and is a cooperative learning method that is suitable to activate student in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model can help students in improving learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and data collection techniques used by researchers are observation and interviews. While the data analysis technique uses the technique according to Miles and Huberman: first by data reduction, secondly by presenting data and third by drawing conclusions. The results of the application of Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cobducted by teachers is the two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning method can be improve student learning outcomes.
