Pengaruh Budaya Kerja Terhadap Produktivitas Pegawai Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Kantor Cabang Surabaya
Work productivity is a mental attitude that continuously seeks improvement of existing conditions. Economically, increased labor productivity contributes to sustainable economic growth, creates job opportunities, and raises national income. Conversely, decreased productivity can damage competitiveness, reduce economic opportunities, and lower the quality of life in society. Employee productivity is closely related to the organizational culture implemented. Organizational culture is a collective program that shapes thought patterns, actions, and problem-solving approaches within an organization. One of the business sectors that emphasizes organizational culture is the banking industry. The success of a bank depends not only on the products and services it offers but also on the implementation of an effective organizational culture that supports employee productivity and builds customer trust. Therefore, the implementation of a strong work culture, as practiced by Bank BTN (Bank Tabungan Negara), is key to creating a competitive advantage in the banking industry.
This study aims to determine the influence of work culture on the productivity of employees at Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Surabaya Branch. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The sample consisted of 125 employees from the Bank Tabungan Negara Surabaya Branch.
The results of the study show that work culture has a positive and significant influence on employee productivity at BTN Surabaya Branch. Based on the R square test, it is known that the R square value is 0.372, indicating that work culture contributes 37.2% to employee productivity.
