Eufemisme Dalam Teks Pidato Kanselir Jerman Olaf Scholz Bertema Climate Change

Euphemisms in the Text of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's Speech on the Theme of Climate Change

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kalimat eufemisme apa sajakah yang ada di dalam ketiga teks pidato kanselir Jerman Olaf Scholz bertema climate change serta mendeskripsikan fungsi kalimat eufemisme yang ada di dalam ketiga teks pidato kanselir Jerman Olaf Scholz bertema climate change. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan data penelitian berupa 3 teks pidato yang dipetik dari website resmi pemerintah Jerman (bundesregierung.de dan diplo.de) dan menggunakan metode simak catat. Sumber data yang digunakan merupakan kata, frasa, maupun kalimat yang memiliki indikator eufemisme pada ketiga teks pidato kanselir Jerman Olaf Scholz bertema climate change. Data tersebut dianalisis melalui 7 tahapan, yaitu (1) mengidentifikasi kalimat eufemisme yang masuk ke dalam bentuk eufemisme menurut teori Schröder, (2)memasukkan semua kalimat eufemisme yang telah diidentifikasi kedalam tabel data, (3)menandai kalimat eufemisme yang muncul ditiap teks pidato dengan kode sesuai forum teks pidatonya, seperti (WEF atau PCD atau UN), (4)memberi penomoran pada kalimat eufemisme yang muncul, sesuai dengan jumlah kalimat pada ketiga teks pidato Olaf Scholz bertema climate change, (5)menyimpulkan data yang telah dianalisis, (6)menyajikan hasil analisis data secara deskriptif, (7)jika memiliki kesamaan pada bentuk eufemisme, peneliti mendeskripsikan secara bersamaan.

The aim of this research is to find out which euphemism phrases occur in the three speech texts of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on climate change and to describe the function of the euphemism phrases in the three speech texts of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on climate change. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with research data in the form of three speech texts extracted from the official website of the German government (bundesregierung.de and diplo.de) and using the method of listening and recording. The data sources used are words, phrases, and sentences that are indicators of euphemism in the three texts of Chancellor Olaf Scholz's speeches on climate change. The data were analyzed in seven steps, namely (1) identifying euphemism phrases belonging to the form of euphemism according to Scholz's theory, (2) entering all identified euphemism phrases into the data table, (3) marking the euphemism phrases occurring in each speech text, with codes according to the forum of the speech text (WEF or PCD or UN), (4) numbering of the occurring euphemism phrases according to the number of phrases in the three speech texts of Olaf Scholz on climate change, (5) summary of the analyzed data, (6) descriptive presentation of the results of the data analysis, (7) in case of similarities in the form of the euphemism gleic
