This research proposes to examine the influence of entrepreneurship
education, social support, and achievement motivation on entrepreneurship
competencies of industrial era 4.0
Students of State Universities in Surabaya . This research used descriptive
and quantitative approaches, through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)
analysis with AMOS. Through this method, the data exploration used four
variables namely entrepreneurship education in the industrial era 4.0, social
support, achievement motivation, and entrepreneurial competence. This study
used purposive sampling, with the Solvin method obtained a sample of 392
student respondents of State Universities in Surabaya. The results showed that (1)
there was a significant effect of entrepreneurship education, social support
and achievement motivation on entrepreneurial competence in the industrial era
4.0; (2) there was a significant influence of social support for
entrepreneurship education and social support on achievement motivation; (3)
there was a significant effect of social support on entrepreneurial competence
through achievement motivation; (4) there was no influence of social support on
entrepreneurial competence through entrepreneurship education; (5) The research
findings contribute to the theory of education management in general and in
particular on entrepreneurship education. The novelty of this research is the
discovery of a model of entrepreneurial development in the industrial era 4.0 in
Public Universities in Surabaya. The development of research results can be
used as a reference in determining the direction of the importance of
entrepreneurship education, as well as a reference for improving college
graduates with entrepreneurial competence in the industrial era 4.0.
