Pengembangan E-modul Materi Virus Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik Untuk Melatih Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA
Development of an E-module on Virus Material Based on a Scientific Approach to Train Critical Thinking Skills for Class X High School Students
Berpikir kritis adalah keterampilan fundamental yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan perkembangan zaman termasuk ke dalam keterampilan kompetensi pendidikan berkualitas Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) yang perlu untuk dikuasi. Berpikir kritid dapat dilatih dengan pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang relevan, yaitu e-modul yang didasarkan pada pendekatan saintifik, dengan fokus pada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi virus. Proses pengembangan e-modul mengikuti model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Parameter penelitian ini meliputi validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memiliki validitas sebesar 89% tergolong sangat valid. Keterbacaan e-modul terukur pada level 10 kategori praktis. Respon peserta didik menunjukkan tanggapan positif, mencapai 96%. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis tercapai sebesar 90%, berada pada kategori sangat baik, dan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,8 tergolong tinggi. Indikator berpikir kritis interpretasi skor N-gain 0,9 kategori tinggi, indikator berpikir kritis analisis skor N-gain 0,7 kategori sedang, indikator berpikir kritis evaluasi skor N-gain 0,7 kategori sedang, indikator berpikir kritis inferensi skor N-gain 0,8 tinggi, indikator berpikir kritis eksplanasi skor N-gain 0,7 kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, e-modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik ini dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X SMA berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasnya.

Critical thinking is a fundamental skill needed to face the challenges of the times including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) quality education competency skills that need to be mastered. Critical thinking can be trained with a scientific approach. This research was conducted to develop relevant teaching materials, namely e-modules based on the scientific approach, with a focus on improving critical thinking skills on virus material. The e-module development process follows the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The parameters of this study include validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The evaluation results show that the e-module has a validity of 89%, classified as very valid. The readability of the e-module was measured at level 10 of the practical category. Learners' responses showed positive responses, reaching 96%. Indicators of critical thinking skills were achieved by 90%, in the very good category, and the N-gain value of 0.8 was classified as high. Critical thinking indicators of interpretation N-gain score 0.9 high category, critical thinking indicators of analysis N-gain score 0.7 medium category, critical thinking indicators of evaluation N-gain score 0.7 medium category, critical thinking indicators of inference N-gain score 0.8 high, critical thinking indicators of explanation N-gain score 0.7 medium category. Thus, this e-module based on the scientific approach is declared feasible to use as teaching material for Biology class X SMA based on its validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
