Tujuan tugas akhir ini yaitu untuk mengetahui lingkungan fisik tata ruang kantor yang diterapkan pada Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Bangkalan Provinsi Jawa Timur Timur. Dalam observasi penulis selama masa Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL), tata ruang kantor yang dimiliki Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Bangkalan Provinsi Jawa Timur belum sesuai dengan beberapa teori tata ruang kantor.

Dalam tugas akhir ini metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Artinya data yang dikumpulkan bukan berupa angka-angka, melainkan data tersebut berasal dari naskah wawancara, catatan lapangan, dokumen pribadi, catatan memo, dan dokumen resmi lainnya. Sehingga yang menjadi tujuan dari penelitian kualitatif ini adalah ingin menggambarkan realita empirik dibalik fenomena secara mendalam, rinci dan tuntas. Sesuai dengan judul yang telah dikemukakan, maka fokus pada tugas akhir ini adalah Persyaratan lingkungan fisik kantor menurut Gie (2009:210-212) terdapat beberapa macam komponen yaitu : kebersihan, luas ruang kantor, suhu udara, ventilasi, penerangan cahaya, fasilitas kesehatan, fasilitas cuci, air, tempat pakaian, tempat duduk, lantai, gang dan tangga, mesin, beban berat, pertolongan pertama, penjagaan kebakaran, pemberitahuan kecelakaan.

Simpulan dalam tugas akhir ini yakni terdapat 13 faktor dari total 16 faktor lingkungan fisik kantor Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Bangkalan Provinsi Jawa Timur pada subbagian umum, telah tersedia dengan baik dan sesuai dengan teori para ahli tata ruang kantor. Disisi lain juga terdapat 3 faktor lingkungan fisik kantor pada subbagian umum, yang tidak tersedia dan tidak sesuai dengan teori para ahli.

The purpose of this final project is to find out the physical environment of office space applied to the Bangkalan District Civil Service Agency in East Java Province. In the author's observation during the Job Training (PKL) period, the office layout owned by the Bangkalan District Personnel Agency in East Java Province has not been in accordance with several office spatial theories.

In this final project the method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This means that the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but the data comes from interviews, field notes, personal documents, memo notes, and other official documents. So that the purpose of this qualitative research is to describe the empirical reality behind phenomena in depth, detail and completeness. In accordance with the title that has been stated, the focus of this final project is the requirements of the physical environment of the office according to Gie (2009: 210-212) there are several types of components, namely: cleanliness, office space, air temperature, ventilation, lighting, health facilities washing facilities, water, clothing, seating, floors, aisles and stairs, machinery, heavy loads, first aid, fire protection, accident notification.

The conclusions in this thesis are that there are 13 factors out of a total of 16 physical environmental factors. The office of the Bangkalan District Personnel Agency, East Java Province, in the general subsection, is well available and in accordance with the theory of office layout experts. On the other hand there are also 3 factors of office physical environment in the general subsection, which are not available and not in accordance with the theory of experts.
