Shooting permainan bola basket ialah teknik penting dalam mengarahkan bola ke ring untuk menghasilkan poin. Namun fenomena terjadi masih banyak siswa kurang faham dan cenderung pasif seperti pada siswa SMP Negeri 42 Surabaya. Dengan adanya permainan target games diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan masalah proses pembelajaran yang monoton
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi diambil dari peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 42 Surabaya. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling.
Hasil pada pre-test adanya peningkatan nilai rata rata pretest (pengetahuan: 52,53, proses keterampilan: 60,51 hasil: 3,35) untuk post-test (pengetahuan: 81,17 proses keterampilan 80,79 hasil: 4,07) Uji beda menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh permainan target games terhadap hasil belajar shooting bola basket. Presentasi peningkatan ranah pengetahuan sebesar 50,61 % proses 33,50 % dan hasil nilai sebesar 45,19 %

Shooting a basketball game is an important technique in directing the ball into the ring to produce points. However, the phenomenon occurs that there are still many students who do not understand and tend to be passive like the students of SMP Negeri 42 Surabaya. With the target games, it is hoped that it can solve the problem of the monotonous learning process.
This study used a pseudo-experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test design. The population was taken from class VIII students of SMP Negeri 42 Surabaya. Sample selection using purposive sampling.
The results in the pre-test increased the average value of the pretest (knowledge: 52.53, skill process: 60.51 results: 3.35) for the post-test (knowledge: 81.17 skill process 80.79 results: 4.07) Different tests using the Paired Sample T-Test test with a significant value of 0.000 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of target games on the learning outcomes of basketball shooting. The presentation of the increase in the realm of knowledge was 50.61%, the process was 33.50% and the result value was 45.19%.
