PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI TKR DI SMK NEGERI 1 JABON
EFFECT OF LEARNING MODELS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF STUDENTS OF CLASS XI TKR AT SMK NEGERI 1 JABON
The learning model used is still conventional and less varied, resulting in decreased enthusiasm for learning due to the level of student boredom with a lot of material and the way it is delivered. So that it can indirectly reduce student learning outcomes, seen from the value of PMKR subject assignments onsemester odd 2022/2023 which is on an unsatisfactory indicator. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes in class XI TKR SMK Negeri 1 Jabon and student responses to the PBL learning.
The research method used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental model using a nonequivalent control group design approach. The data analysis technique of this research was pretest-posttest, the results of which were processed using normality, homogeneity and hypothesis tests.
In the normality test using IBM SPSS Statistics 25, it was found that the significance (sig) for all control and experimental class data was more than 0.05, so it was said that the data were normally distributed. For the homogeneity test, the sig value was obtained from the test of homogeneity of variance of 0.927> 0.05 in both classes, which means that the data is homogeneous and can represent the population. Hypothesis testing using independent samples t test and the results obtained are that the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.034 is less than 0.05 meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
Based on the hypothesis test and its derivatives it was found that the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.034 less (>) than 0.05, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so the PBL learning modelown significant influence on student learning outcomes TKR class XI SMK Negeri 1 Jabon. And then from the results of the response questionnaire, the PBL model used can increase students' learning interest so that it can stimulate them. This is evidenced by the student's assessment of the PBL model obtaining a percentage value of 81.62%, where this value based on student acceptance response criteria is included in the very good category.
