INOVASI POLA ROK ZERO WASTE DAN PENERAPAN BATIK BERPOLA MOTIF BATIK di MOJOKERTO

ZERO WASTE SKIRT PATTERN INNOVATION AND APPLICATION OF BATIK PATTEREND MOTIF IN MOJOKERTO

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) inovasi pola rok dengan konsep zero waste, 2) proses penerapan  batik berpola motif batik di Mojokerto, dan 3) mengetahui hasil jadi rok zero waste dengan penerapan batik berpola motif batik di Mojokerto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Double Diamond Model meliputi empat tahap: Discover mencari dan mengumpulkan informasi mengenai zero waste dan batik di Mojokerto. Tahap Define menganalisis sumber ide zero waste dan batik di Mojokerto, dan mendefinisikan bagaimana gaya busana yang diwujudkan Develop pembuatan rok zero waste kemudian dilanjutkan proses pembatikan dengan menggunakan kain primissima berukuran 200 cm x 110 cm. Deliver yaitu merupakan tahap akhir yang mana pada tahap ini peneliti akan mengumpulkan masukan oleh para penguji dan ahli fashion. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada proses menggunakan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan mean atau rata-rata. Hasil menunjukan bahwa inovasi pola rok zero waste telah dilakukan dengan maksimal tanpa meninggalkan limbah. Hasil kedua menunjukkan bahwa penerapan motif batik berpola pada pola zero waste. Dan menunjukan bahwa desain motif batik yang diterapkan pada Rok diminati oleh para observer. Desain rok dengan teknik Zero Waste pada umumnya dilakukan dengan mendesain pola dan cutting busana sedemikian rupa untuk dapat memanfaatkan bahan kain semaksimal mungkin dan meminimalisir atau meniadakan sampah sisa kain.

This research aims to find out 1) the innovation of skirt patterns with the zero waste concept, 2) the process of applying batik with batik motif patterns in Mojokerto, and 3) knowing the results of zero waste skirts by applying batik with batik motif patterns in Mojokerto. This type of research is quantitative. This research method using the Double Diamond Model includes four stages: Discover, search for and collect information about zero waste and batik in Mojokerto. The Define stage analyzes the source of the idea of ​​zero waste and batik in Mojokerto, and defines how the fashion style is realized. Develops the manufacture of zero waste skirts, then continues with the batik process using primissima cloth measuring 200 cm x 110 cm. Deliver is the final stage where at this stage the researcher will collect input from testers and fashion experts. The data collection instrument in the process uses an observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques using the mean or average. The results show that the zero waste skirt pattern innovation has been carried out optimally without leaving any waste. The second result shows that the application of batik motifs is a zero waste pattern. And it shows that the batik motif design applied to the skirt is of interest to observers. Skirt design using the Zero Waste technique is generally done by designing clothing patterns and cutting in such a way as to make maximum use of fabric materials and minimize or eliminate fabric waste.
