PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN WISATA GROJOGAN SEWU TAWANGMANGU KARANGANYAR

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF GROJOGAN SEWU TAWANGMANGU KARANGANYAR TOURISM

Pengembangan objek wisata menjadi perhatian utama dalam mengoptimalkan potensi pariwisata suatu daerah karena dapat meningkatkan daya tarik dan kompetitivitas destinasi wisata. Keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam proses ini dianggap krusial dalam memastikan keberlanjutan serta keberhasilan pengembangan tersebut. Melalui analisis mendalam terhadap berbagai bentuk partisipasi masyarakat, beberapa faktor yang peneliti ambil di wisata Gerojogan Sewu Tawangmangu Karanganyar ini menarik untuk diteliti dari  tingkat partisipasi, dan dampaknya terhadap aspek-aspek kunci seperti infrastruktur, ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian sumber mata air.

Untuk itu peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji tingkat partisipasi masyarakat yang aktif maupun tidak aktif dengan judul penelitian “PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN WISATA GROJOGAN SEWU TAWANGMANGU KARANGANYAR.” Pada penelitian ini memiliki 3 tujuan utama yaitu menganalisis partisipasi masyarakat, pengaruh terhadap pengembangan dan dampak dari partisipasi masyarakat di wisata Grrojogan Sewu Tawangmangu Karanganyar. Metode yang digunakan pengembangan objek wisata Grojogan Sewu Tawangmangu Karanganyar menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi lapangan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga bentuk partisipasi yang dilakukan masyarakat yaitu faktor perencanaan, faktor Implementasi dan faktor pengawasan. Penanggung jawab pengawasan dilakukan secara langsung oleh pihak swasta dan masyarakat. Alasan mengapa masyarakat berpatisipasi ada tiga yaitu karena faktor kemauan diri, faktor kemampuan dan faktor adanya kesempatan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa dampak dari partisipasi yang dilakukan masyarakat adalahnya tercipta dan terjaganya lingkugan alam seperti bersihnya sumber mata air Grojogan Sewu, serta tersedianya sarana dan pra-sarana untuk berkunjung dan beraktivitas di tempat wisata.

The development of tourist attractions is a major concern in optimizing the tourism potential of an area because it can increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of tourist destinations. Active community involvement in this process is considered crucial in ensuring the sustainability and success of this development. Through in-depth analysis of various forms of community participation, several factors that researchers took into account in the Gerojogan Sewu Tawangmangu Karanganyar tourist attraction are interesting to examine in terms of the level of participation, and their impact on key aspects such as infrastructure, local economy, and preservation of water sources.

For this reason, researchers are interested in studying the level of active and inactive community participation with the research title "COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM GROJOGAN SEWU TAWANGMANGU KARANGANYAR." This research has 3 main objectives, namely analyzing community participation, the influence on development and the impact of community participation in the Grrojogan Sewu Tawangmangu Karanganyar tourist attraction. The method used to develop the Grojogan Sewu Tawangmangu Karanganyar tourist attraction uses a qualitative approach with a field study design.

The research results show that there are three forms of participation carried out by the community, namely planning factors, implementation factors and monitoring factors. The person responsible for supervision is carried out directly by the private sector and the public. There are three reasons why people participate, namely the factor of self-will, the ability factor and the opportunity factor. The research results also show that the impact of community participation is the creation and preservation of the natural environment, such as the cleanliness of the Grojogan Sewu spring, as well as the availability of facilities and infrastructure for visiting and carrying out activities at tourist attractions.
