PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING TERHADAP KARAKTER SISWA PADA MATERI INTERAKSI SOSIAL
THE EFFECT OF ROLE PLAYING LEARNING MODELS ON STUDENT CHARACTER IN SOCIAL INTERACTION MATERIALS
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas pembelajaran melalui menerapkan model role playing, selain itu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model role playing. Kuasi eksperimen merupakan jenis penelitian ini yaitu dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap hipotesis “apakah ada pengaruh terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran role playing pada mata pelajaran IPS materi interaksi sosial terhadap karakter siswa”. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII E dan VII G dari UPT SMPN 42 Surabaya pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Dari hasil observasi peneliti mendapat hasil bahwa pada aktivitas pembelajaran role playing mendapat ketercapaian pembelajaran role playing yang baik dengan dilakukan tiga kali pertemuan dan mendapat hasil presentasi berturut-turut: 84%, 88%, 86%. Lalu pada hasil ketercapaian pembelajaran siswa mendapatkan hasil berturut turut: 93%, 94%, 92%. Serta pada profil karakter setelah pembelajaran role playing mendapat hasil rata rata 81% dengan kriteria tinggi. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa terdapat perbedaan karakter antara kelas eksperiment dan kelas kontrol. Perbedaan ini mendasar pada penerapan model pembelajaran. Pada kelas eksperiment menerapkan model pembalajaran role playing dan pada kelas kontrol menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional
This study aims to determine learning activities through applying the role playing model, in addition to knowing the effect of learning by applying the role playing model. Quasi-experimental is a type of this research, namely by testing the hypothesis "is there any influence on the application of the role playing learning model in social studies subject material on social interaction on student character". The sample for this research was students of class VII E and VII G from UPT SMPN 42 Surabaya in semester II of the 2022/2023 school year. Questionnaires, observations, and documentation were used to collect data. From the results of observations, the researchers found that in role playing learning activities, good role playing learning was achieved by conducting three meetings and receiving successive presentations: 84%, 88%, 86%. Then on the results of student learning achievement get successive results: 93%, 94%, 92%. As well as on the character profile after learning role playing gets an average result of 81% with high criteria. From these data it can be concluded that there are differences in character between the experimental class and the control class. This difference is fundamental to the application of learning models. The experimental class applies the role playing learning model and the control class applies the conventional learning model
