THE IMPACT OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL) SUPPORTED BY INTERACTIVE POWERPOINT MEDIA ON CRITICAL THINKING AND COLLABORATION SKILLS OF STUDENTS AT SMK NEGERI 2 SURABAYA
Dalam mata pelajaran teknik pengelasan, sebanyak 53% dari 73 siswa mendapat nilai di bawah KKM dalam ujian semester. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang didukung oleh media presentasi Power Point (PPT) Interaktif terhadap kemampuan critical thinking, serta kemampuan kolaborasi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pre-eksperimen design, one group pretest-post test design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kelas Teknik Pemesinan di SMKN 2 Surabaya. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI TPM 2 dan 3 di SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya. Pengumpulan data berupa tes tulis dengan model pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 butir soal yang diterapkan pada pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dilakukan dalam bentuk analisis deskriptif-kuantitatif meliputi: analisis pemodelan rasch pada uji terbatas, uji paired sample t-test, analisis delta, dan uji normality gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media power point interaktif layak dengan persentase score rata-rata 88%, masuk dalam kategori valid/layak. Selanjutnya, penggunaan model project based learning kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan di SMKN 2 Surabaya menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi uji paired samples test adalah 0,000. Selain itu, pada analisis delta diketahui peningkatan antara pre-test dan post-test sebesar 67%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model project based learning berbantu media power point interaktif berpengaruh terhadap kemempuan critical thinking, serta berdampak positif pada kemampuan kolaborasi siswa, dengan persentase score rata-rata 80,27%, masuk dalam kategori kuat.

In the welding technique subject, 53% of 73 students scored below the minimum passing grade in the semester exam. This study aims to investigate the impact of using project-based learning (PBL) models supported by interactive PowerPoint (PPT) presentations on students' critical thinking and collaboration abilities. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with a pre-experimental design, one group pretest-posttest design. The research population comprises all Machining Technology classes at SMKN 2 Surabaya. The research sample consists of students from classes XI TPM 2 and 3 at SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya. Data collection involves written tests with 25 multiple-choice questions applied in pretest and posttest. Data analysis includes descriptive quantitative analysis, including Rasch modeling for limited testing, paired sample t-test, delta analysis, and normality gain score test. The results show that the interactive PowerPoint media is valid, with an average score of 88%, categorized as valid/appropriate. Furthermore, the use of project-based learning in class XI Machining Technology at SMKN 2 Surabaya resulted in significant improvement, as evidenced by a significance value in the paired samples test of 0.000. Additionally, delta analysis shows an increase of 67% between pre-test and post-test. In conclusion, project-based learning assisted by interactive PowerPoint media positively influences students' critical thinking and has a positive impact on students' collaboration abilities, with an average score of 80.27%, categorized as strong.
