PERANCANGAN PENGENALAN SEJARAH NAMA MOJOKERTO MELALUI ANIMASI 2.5D

Mojokerto memiliki sejarah lokal yang sangat melimpah sejak sebelum masa kerajaan Majapahit. Hal tersebut perlu dilestarikan agar tidak dilupakan. Salah satunya yakni sejarah nama Mojokerto. Namun, sayangnya masyarakat Mojokerto banyak yang tidak mengetahuinya. Mojokerto yang merupakan nama daerah, memiliki latar belakang yang bersejarah. Tujuan perancangan ini untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat Mojokerto. Perancangan ini juga memiliki tujuan penelitian yaitu menjelaskan proses, konsep, serta visualisasi dari Perancangan Pengenalan Sejarah Nama Mojokerto Melalui Animasi 2.5D. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan alur perancangan Design Thinking oleh David Kelley dan Tim Brown yang memiliki 5 tahapan yakni empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Perancangan ini menghasilkan animasi 2.5D yang berjudul Sejarah Nama Mojokerto dengan durasi 3 menit 10 detik yang dipublikasikan di YouTube. Perancangan animasi yang telah dipublikasikan diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan sejarah mengenai nama Mojokerto kepada masyarakat Mojokerto.

Mojokerto has a very abundant local history since before the Majapahit kingdom. This needs to be preserved so that it is not forgotten. One of them is the history of the name Mojokerto. However, unfortunately many people in Mojokerto do not know about it. Mojokerto which is the name of the area, has a historical background. The purpose of this design is to provide information to the people of Mojokerto. This design also has a research objective, namely to explain the process, concept, and visualization of the Design of Introduction to the History of the Name of Mojokerto through 2.5D Animation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with Design Thinking flow by David Kelley and Tim Brown which has 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. This design produces a 2.5D animation entitled Sejarah Nama Mojokerto with a duration of 3 minutes 10 seconds which is published on YouTube. The animation design that has been published is expected to provide historical knowledge about the name Mojokerto to the people of Mojokerto.
