DEVELOPMENT OF KUBUS BACA TULIS MEDIA FOR SKILLS OF READING AND WRITING BEGINNING STUDENT CLASS I BASIC SCHOOL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan prosedur pengembangan media dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media Kubus Baca Tulis untuk keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Researh and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk berupa media Kubus Baca Tulis yang digunakan untuk memfasilitasi siswa kelas I sekolah dasar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan . Hasil penilaian media Kubus Baca Tulis didapatkan melalui hasil validasi dan kepraktisan media Kubus Baca Tulis. Hasil validasi didapat dari ahli validasi materi dan ahli validasi media, sedangkan hasil kepraktisan didapat dari angket guru dan angket siswa sebagai pengguna media Kubus Baca Tulis. Hasil validasi media menunjukkan persentase sebesar 87% yang dikategorikan sangat valid, sedangkan hasil validasi materi menunjukkan persentase sebesar 93% yang menunjukkan sangat valid, sehingga media Kubus Baca Tulis dikatakan valid. Hasil kepraktisan yang didapat melalui respon guru memiliki persentase angka 100% kategori sangat praktis dan siswa memiliki persentase angka 100% menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis, sehingga media Kubus Baca Tulis dapat dikatakan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan.

This study aims to explain the procedures for media development and to determine the feasibility of the Writing Cube media for reading and writing skills for beginning grade I students in primary schools. This research uses ADDIE research development type. This development research resulted in a product in the form of a literate reading media which was used to facilitate first grade students in elementary schools in improving their early reading and writing skills. The results of the media assessment of the Read Write Cube are obtained through the results of the validation and practicality of the Read Write Cube media. The validation results were obtained from the material validation expert and the media validation expert, while the practicality results were obtained from the teacher's questionnaire and student questionnaire as media users of the Read and Write cube. The results of media validation showed a percentage of 87% which was categorized as very valid, while the results of the material validation showed a percentage of figures of 93% which showed very valid, so that the media of the Read and Write cube was said to be valid. Practical results obtained through teacher responses have a percentage of 100% the category is very practical and students have a percentage of numbers 100% indicate a very practical category, so that the Cube Read Write media can be said to be valid and practical to use.
