ANALISIS KONDISI FISIK TIM HOCKEY INDOOR PUTRA PON XX JAWA TIMUR PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
ANALYSIS PHISICAL CONDITION OF THE SON INDOOR HOCKEY TEAM'S PON XX EAST JAVA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, all sports were deactivated, including indoor hockey, which eventually conducted training from home for more than 5 months using an online system through the “zoom and polar” application. In November 2020, athletes in several sports in East Java began to conduct regional training camps (Puslatda) directly at Surabaya State University while adhering to health protocols and doing swabs, including indoor hockey. Based on the conditions that have occurred, it is suspected that the physical training from home training provided by the hockey coach to the athletes is not as much and or as complete as during direct training, which is likely to cause a decrease in physical condition according to the standards set by KONI East Java. This study aims to determine the maximum oxygen capacity of male athletes in indoor hockey in East Java. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach using a survey method. The samples of this study were 12 athletes of the men's indoor hockey team of PON XX East Java. From the results of the physical condition (VO2Max) on the Multistage Fitness Test model, it can be concluded that the maximum aerobic capacity (oxygen) level of the East Java men's indoor hockey team preparing for the XX PON championship in Papua shows the minimum VO2Max results of 35 ml / kg / min, Maximum 54.3 ml. / kg / min, and the average VO2Max 45.75 ml / kg / min in the moderate category, and each percentage result is 1 athlete (8.3%) indicates very good category, 4 athletes (33.3%) indicate good / enough category 6 athletes (50%) indicated moderate category, and 1 athlete (8.3%) indicated poor category.
