Evaluasi Setting Reverse Power Relay Generator Sinkron pada PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1
Generator sinkron PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 berkapasitas 800 kW bekerja paralel dengan unit lain. Saat generator berparalel memilki potensi gangguan motoring. Motoring atau daya balik adalah perubahan fungsi generator sinkron menjadi motor sinkron karena gangguan mesin diesel atau gagal sinkron. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Menghitung dan mengetahui batasan toleransi motoring unit 1, (2) Menghitung dan mengetahui setting reverse power relay SEG RW N 1-10 unit 1, dan (3) Mengevaluasi kesesuaian setting reverse power relay generator sinkron pada PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 berdasarkan IEEE Std C37.102-2006. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dimana data penelitian dari PLTD PPSDM MIGAS dibandingkan IEEE Std. C37.102-2006 untuk mengetahui kesesuaiannya. Formula perhitungan dari manual book dan mengacu ke IEEE Std. C37.102-2006 untuk ketentuannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Diperoleh nilai batasan motoring yang diizinkan generator sinkron pada PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 berdasarkan IEEE Std C37.102-2006 yaitu -5% hingga -25% dari daya aktif generator atau -40 kW hingga -200 kW., (2) Dihasilkan setting reverse power relay SEG RW N 1-10 di generator sinkron PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 dengan batas minimum setting reverse power relay SEG RW N 1-10 diatur -3,8% untuk merespon motoring -5% dari daya aktif generator yaitu -40 kW. Sedangkan batas maksimum setting reverse power relay SEG RW N 1-10 diatur -19,3 % untuk merespon motoring -25% dari daya aktif generator yaitu -200 kW dan waktu tunda trip 15 detik. Sehingga setting reverse power relay generator sinkron pada PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 dengan IEEE Std C37.102-2006 telah sesuai.

PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 synchronous generator with a capacity of 800 kW works in parallel with other units. When the generators are in parallel they have potential for motoring fault. Motoring or reverse power is a change in the function of a synchronous generator into a synchronous motor due to diesel engine interference or synchronous failure. The objectives of this study are (1) to calculate and determine the tolerance limit of motoring unit 1, (2) to calculate and determine the reverse power relay setting of SEG RW N 1-10 unit 1, and (3) to evaluate the suitability of the reverse power relay setting of the synchronous generator in PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 based on IEEE Std C37.102-2006. This study uses an experimental method where research data from PLTD PPSDM MIGAS is compared to IEEE Std. C37.102-2006 for the terms. The results of this study are (1) The motoring limits allowed for synchronous generators in PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 based on IEEE Std C37.102-2006 are -5% to -25% of the generator's active power or -40 kW to -200 kW ., (2) Reverse power relay setting SEG RW N 1-10 in synchronous generator PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 with the minimum limit setting reverse power relay SEG RW N 1-10 set -3.8% to respond to motoring -5% of the active power of the generator is -40 kW. While the maximum limit for setting reverse power relay SEG RW N 1-10 is set to -19.3% to respond to motoring -25% of the generator's active power, which is -200 kW and trip time delay of 15 seconds. So that the reverse power relay settings for the synchronous generator on PLTD PPSDM MIGAS Unit 1 with IEEE Std C37.102-2006 are suitable.
