Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku digital format electronic publisher yang layak dari segi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan untuk melatihkan literasi digital siswa SMP kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan buku digital ini adalah Research and Development (RnD). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar telaah buku digital IPA, lembar validasi buku digital IPA, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon siswa, dan soal pre test dan post test. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu validasi, observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skala likert dan N-Gain. Buku digital diujicobakan di SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya pada 1 kelas berjumlah 20 orang. Kelayakan validitas meliputi aspek isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan literasi digital ditinjau oleh dua dosen dan satu guru IPA dengan rata-rata skor 3.83 termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Kelayakan kepraktisan ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada pendahuluan, isi dan penutup mengalami kenaikan termasuk kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, kelayakan kepraktisan juga ditinjau dari respon siswa. rata-rata hasil respon siswa terhadap buku digital sebesar 97.5% termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Kelayakan keefektifan ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital 13 siswa yang mengalami peningkatan kategori tinggi dan 7 siswa termasuk kategori sedang berdasarkan dari skor N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian buku digital layak dari segi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.

This experiment is purposed to produce digital book eligibility by reviewing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness to train 7th grade student’s digital literation at Junior High School. Method used for developing this digital book is Research and Development (RnD). The instruments used in the study were the digital book review sheet, validation sheet, learning implementation observation sheet, student response questionnaire, and pre test and post test questions. Methods of data collection were validation, observation and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the Likert scale and N-Gain. This digital book was tested in one class comprised of 20 students at SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya. Eligibility of validity is consists of content aspect, presentation, literature, and the dimension of literation. The digital book validity is reviewed by two lecturers and one science teacher, stating that the average score is 3.83, this score categorized as very valid category. Eligibility of practicality is reviewed from the outcome of implementation of learning planning and student’s response. Implementation of learning planning increases in each meeting, both at preliminary phase, core activity, and closing. Implementation of learning planning categorized as very good category. The student’s response to this digital book is 97.5%, categorized as very eligible. Eligibility of effectiveness is reviewed from the development students’ digital literature ability, 13 students have high enhancement and 7 students are categorized as average according to the N-Gain score. Based on the results of research, digital book is eligible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
