PENCIPTAAN EVENING WEAR DENGAN SUMBER IDE RELIEF KRESNAYANA PADA CANDI PENATARAN

THE CREATION OF EVENING WEAR INSPIRED BY THE KRESNAYANA RELIEFS AT PENATARAN TEMPLE

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penciptaan yang berfokus pada evening wear dengan sumber ide relief Kresnayana di Candi Penataran. Tujuan dari penciptaan ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan proses penciptaan busana dengan sumber ide relief Kresnayana pada Candi Penataran, (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil jadi penciptaan busana dengan sumber ide relief Kresnayana pada Candi Penataran, dan (3) Mendeskripsikan hasil penyajian karya penciptaan busana dengan sumber ide relief kresnayana pada Candi Penataran. Metode penelitian mengacu pada metodologi penciptaan karya Hendriyana yang terdiri atas empat tahap: pra-perancangan, perancangan, perwujudan, dan penyajian karya. Hasil penciptaan karya adalah sebagai berikut : (1) Proses penciptaan busana diawali dengan eksplorasi tema melalui moodboard, yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi 30 sketsa desain dan diseleksi hingga diperoleh tiga desain terpilih berupa 2 female dan 1 male. Tahap perwujudan meliputi pengukuran model, pembuatan pola, penjahitan, dan finishing busana. (2) Hasil penciptaan berupa tiga busana evening wear yang terdiri atas dua busana female dan satu busana male, memperoleh nilai penjurian keseluruhan masing-masing 49, 58, dan 56 dari tiga juri, dengan rata-rata nilai 54,3. (3) Penyajian karya busana dilakukan melalui Pameran Karya serta fashion show pada acara Grand Jury dan 36th  Annual Fashion Show “MAHATRAKALA” 2025.

This study is a creative research focusing on evening wear inspired by the Kresnayana reliefs at Penataran Temple. The objectives of this creation are: (1) to describe the fashion creation process using the Kresnayana reliefs at Penataran Temple as the source of inspiration; (2) to describe the final outcomes of the fashion creation based on the Kresnayana reliefs at Penataran Temple; and (3) to describe the presentation of the fashion works inspired by the Kresnayana reliefs at Penataran Temple. The research method refers to Hendriyana’s creative research methodology, which consists of four stages: pre-design, design, realization, and presentation of the work. The results of the creative process are as follows: (1) The fashion creation process begins with theme exploration through a moodboard, which is then developed into 30 design sketches and selected to obtain three final designs, consisting of two female designs and one male design. The realization stage includes model measurement, pattern making, sewing, and garment finishing. (2) The creative outcomes consist of three evening wear garments—two female outfits and one male outfit—which received overall evaluation scores of 49, 58, and 56 from three judges, with an average score of 54.3. (3) The presentation of the fashion works was conducted through a Work Exhibition as well as fashion shows at the Grand Jury event and the 36th  Annual Fashion Show “MAHATRAKALA” 2025.Bottom of Form
