Pengembangan Media Pop-up Book Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Materi Daur Hidup Hewan Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar
Pop-up Book Media Development In Animal Life Cycle Subjects In Class IV Elementary School
Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan media pop-up book mata pelajaran IPA materi daur hidup hewan kelas IV sekolah dasar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan adanya media ini, diharapkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan berdasar pada nilai kevalidan, kepraktisan, efektivitas media yang diperoleh selama penelitian. Dalam prosesnya, digunakan procedural ADDIE sebagai tahapan pengembangan yang mana terdiri dari 5 tahap, yakni tahap analisis (analyze), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek yang terlibat pada penelitian ini sebanyak 7 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi validasi untuk mengetahui kevalidan media, lembar angket untuk mengetahui kepraktisan media juga respon guru dan siswa, tes hasil belajar untuk melihat keefektifan media dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi media memeroleh hasil 87% yang menunjukkan kategori sangat valid dan hasil validasi materi memeroleh hasil 86,6% yang menunjukkan kategori sangat valid. Adapun hasil angket yang diberikan kepada guru memperoleh skor 96,6% dan siswa memperoleh hasil 90,8% yang menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Selain itu, efektivitas media diperoleh melalui perhitungan rata-rata n-gain yang mendapati skor sebesar 0,73 dan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan uji coba penggunaan media kepada subjek, media pop-up book mata pelajaran IPA materi daur hidup hewan kelas IV sekolah dasar sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk diterapkan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar.

The purpose of this development research is to describe the feasibility ofmedia pop-up book for science subjects, animal life cycle material for grade IV elementary schools in improving student learning outcomes. With this media, it is hoped that there will be an increase in student learning outcomes based on the value of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media obtained during the study. In the process, is used as a procedural ADDIE development stage which consists of five stages, namely stage analysis (analyze),design (design),development (development),implementation (implementation),and evaluation (evaluation).The subjects involved in this study were 7 students. The instruments used in the research include validation to determine the validity of the media, questionnaire sheets to determine the practicality of the media as well as teacher and student responses, learning outcomes tests to see the effectiveness of the media in improving learning outcomes. The results of this development research shows that the results of media validation get 87% results which indicate a very valid category and the results of material validation get 86.6% results which indicate a very valid category. The results of the questionnaire given to the teacher obtained a score of 96.6% and the students obtained 90.8% results which showed a very practical category. In addition, the effectiveness of the media is obtained through the calculation of the average n-gain which finds a score of 0.73 and is included in the high category. Based on the results of validation by media experts, material experts and trials of using media to the subject, themedia media pop- up for science subjects for animal life cycle materials for grade IV elementary schools is very valid and very practical to be applied to teaching and learning activities.
