Kesiapan Kerja Siswa SMK Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan

Work Readiness of Vocational High School Students Competency of Modeling Design and Building Information

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bertujuan menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu bekerja pada bidang pekerjaan tertentu. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah masih tingginya tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK. Aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan adalah kesiapan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan besar pengaruh kemampuan komunikasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kemampuan bekerja tim, dan kemampuan psikomotorik terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB). Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan kategori ex post facto. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMK Program Keahlian DPIB di daerah Gerbangkartosusila (Gresik, Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, dan Lamongan). Angket dan lembar observasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengambilan data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif, dan analsis structural equation model (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa. Kemampuan komunikasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan bekerja tim, dan kemampuan psikomotorik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, kemampuan pemecahan masalah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan pemecahan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan psikomotorik, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tidak berpengaruh signifikan melalui kemampuan psikomotorik terhadap kesiapan kerja.

Vocational High Schools (SMK) aim to produce graduates who are able to work in certain fields of work. The problem that occurs is the high unemployment rate of SMK graduates. An important aspect that needs attention is work readiness. This study aims to find out how much influence communication skills, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, team work skills, and psycomotoric skills have on the job readiness of Vocational High School Students Competency of Building Information Modeling and Design (DPIB). This research belongs to the type of quantitative research with the ex post facto category. The subject in this study were students of class XII SMK DPIB expertise competence in the Gerbangkartosusila area (Gresik, Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Lamongan districts). Questionnaire and observation tests were used as data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis, and structural equation model (SEM). The results of this research are as follows. Communication skills, critical thinking skills, teamwork skills, and psychomotor skills have a significant effect on work readiness, problem solving skills have no significant effect on work readiness, critical thinking skills and solving skills have a significant effect on psychomotor skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills have no significant effect through psychomotor skills on work readiness.
