Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai karakter integritas, keyakinan, kedisiplinan, kerajinan, dan kebijaksanaan dalam novel Si Anak Pintar karya Tere Liye. Novel Si Anak Pintar karya Tere Liye ini menceritakan tentang kehidupan anak di desa yang patuh dengan guru di sekolah, selalu membantu orang tua di rumah, membantu orang tua di ladang, membantu berdagang di pasar, dan bermain bersama teman-teman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan objektif. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan yaitu metode baca dan catat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) memberikan tanda kode INT, KYN, KDS, KRJ, dan KBJ pada kalimat yang berhubungan dengan masalah penelitian, (2) mencatat bukti data sesuai dengan masalah penelitian, dan (3) mengelompokkan data ke dalam tabel klasifikasi data. Teori sastra anak dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk pengajaran moral, pembimbing karakter anak, dan memberi ilmu pengetahuan bagi anak. Sehingga kelima nilai karakter John Garmo dapat dijadikan sebagai tolok ukur dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian memaparkan berbagai tindakan tokoh dalam novel Si Anak Pintar yang berkarakter. Karakter tersebut yaitu: (1) nilai karakter integritas yang ditunjukkan dari tindakan tokoh Pukat yang selalu mengedepankan kejujuran dalam segala situasi, (2) nilai karakter keyakinan dapat diketahui dari tindakan tokoh Pukat dan saudara-saudaranya yang memiliki keyakinan dapat menyelesaikan semua pekerjaan yang ada, (3) nilai karakter kedisiplinan dapat diketahui dari tindakan tokoh Pukat dan teman-temannya yang disiplin menaati peraturan di sekolah dan di rumah, (4) nilai karakter kerajinan dapat diketahui pada tindakan tokoh Pukat dan saudara-saudaranya saat membantu pekerjaan orang tua dan rajin dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah, (5) nilai karakter kebijaksanaan dapat diketahui dari tindakan dan cara pandang tokoh Pukat ketika dihadapkan pada suatu hal yang kurang baik.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the character values of integrity, belief, discipline, diligence, and wisdom in Tere Liye's novel Si Anak Pintar.The novel Si Anak Pintar by Tere Liye tells about the life of children in villages who are obedient to teachers at school, always helping their parents at home, helping parents in the fields, helping trade in the market, and playing with friends. This type of research is qualitative. The approach in this research is an objective approach. In this research, the method used is the reading and note-taking method. The data collection technique was carried out by: (1) giving INT, KYN, KDS, KRJ, and KBJ codes on sentences related to the research problem, (2) recording data evidence according to the research problem, and (3) grouping the data into data classification table. Children's literary theory can be used as a medium for moral teaching, guiding children's character, and providing knowledge for children. So that the five John Garmo character values can be used as benchmarks in this study. The results of the study describe the various actions of the characters in the novel Si Anak Pintar with character. These characters are: (1) the integrity character value shown from the actions of the Pukat character who always prioritizes honesty in all situations, (2) the value of the character of belief can be seen from the actions of the Pukat character and his brothers who have the confidence to be able to complete all existing work (3) the value of disciplinary character can be seen from the actions of the Pukat character and his friends who are disciplined in obeying the rules at school and at home, (4) the value of the character of the craft can be seen in the actions of the Pukat character and his siblings when helping their parents' work and are diligent in their work. doing school work, (5) the value of wisdom character can be seen from the actions and point of view of Pukat figures when faced with something unfavorable.
