Penelitian peningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui pengembangan multimedia interaktif compact disk tutorial pada materi sistem peredaran darah betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan multimedia interaktif yang layak secara teoritis dan empiris. Kelayakan teoritis ditinjau dari penilaian produk oleh dosen ahli media, dosen ahli materi, dan guru IPA. Sedangkan kelayakan empiris ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas siswa, dan respon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan metode R&D (Research and Development) yang hanya dibatasi hingga 6 tahap yakni sampai pada tahap uji coba produk secara terbatas. Hasil dari pengembangan multimedia yang telah memperoleh kriteria layak ini kemudian diujicobakan pada siswa kelas VIII-A di SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian One-Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kelayakan teoritis dari analisis hasil telaah, analisis validasi dengan rata-rata modus sebesar 5 dan termasuk dalam kategori valid atau layak. Kelayakan empiris dari penilaian hasil belajar melalui pre-test dan post-test berturut urut diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 78,8 dan 89,0. Hasil penilaian keterampilan dan sikap mendapat hasil rata-rata keseluruhan secara berturut-urut sebesar 94,84 dan 93,31. Kemudian untuk hasil aktivitas siswa yang dinilai berdasarkan 8 aspek penilaian memperoleh hasil secara berturut-urut sebesar 87,5; 97,5; 80,0; 57,5; 100,0; 95,0; dan 100,0. Dan penilaian terakhir terkait hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 96,58% dengan kriteria sangat layak.

Research on improving science learning outcomes through the development of compact disk interactive multimedia tutorials on circulatory system aims to describe theoretically and empirically feasible of interactive multimedia. Theoretical feasibility is reviewed from product assessment by media expert lecturers, material expert lecturers, and science teachers. Then, in empirical feasibility is viewed from student learning outcomes, student activities, and responses of student. The type of research used is the R & D (Research and Development) method which is only limited to 6 stages, until the product testing phase. The results of the multimedia development that had obtained these eligible criteria were then tested on students of class VIII-A in SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya with a total of 20 students and this study uses the One-Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design for research design. The results of this study obtained theoretical feasibility from study analysis and validation analysis an modus average is 5 and it was include valid category. Empirical feasibility of assessment of learning outcomes from result of pre-tests and post-tests obtained an average of 78.8 and 89.0. The results of skills and attitudes assessment get the overall average in a row of 94.84 and 93.31. Then for the results of student activities that are assessed based on 8 aspects results in a row of 87.5; 97.5; 80.0; 57,5; 100.0; 95.0; and 100.0. And the latest assessment related to the results of student questionnaire responses obtained an average of 96.58% with very decent criteria.
