PEMBELAJARAN EKSPRESI SENI MUSIK MENGGUNAKAN PJBL MELALUI MEDIA SOSIAL DI SMP NEGERI 10
Music Expression Learning Using Project-Based Learning (PJBL) Through Social Media at Junior High School 10 Surabaya
Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pembelajaran ekspresi seni musik melalui media sosial, mengkaji pengemasan karya siswa, dan menganalisis hasil belajarnya di sekolah tersebut, guna mengoptimalkan media sosial sebagai sarana ekspresi kreatif yang efektif dan bermakna dalam konteks kota metropolitan, dengan mempertimbangkan dampak negatif seperti manajemen waktu layar (Rohidi, 2014; Hakim et al., 2024).
Penelitian ini dianalisis melalui teori pendidikan seni (Triyanto, 2017; Rohidi, 2014). Selain itu menggunakan teori tentang model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) (Mulyasa, 2014; Fathurrohman, 2016). Penelitian kualitatif (Moleong, 2017) di SMPN 10 Surabaya (Agustus-November 2024) mengumpulkan data melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara (guru & siswa kelas VII), dan dokumentasi. Validitas dijamin via triangulasi sumber, waktu, dan metode, dengan analisis data kualitatif bertahap.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan PJBL berbasis media sosial di SMPN 10 Surabaya terbukti efektif meningkatkan minat, partisipasi, dan capaian belajar seni musik. Peserta didik menunjukkan penguasaan teknis musikal (ritme, harmoni), kreativitas aransemen lagu daerah, literasi digital (pengemasan konten), serta sikap kolaboratif melalui proyek ansambel. Hasilnya, 86.7% peserta didik meraih predikat "Sangat Baik" pada aspek kognitif, psikomotorik (skor 20-22/25), dan afektif (skor 23-25/25), sekaligus menguatkan apresiasi budaya.

This study aims to map the implementation of music art expression learning through social media, examine students' artwork presentation strategies, and analyze learning outcomes at SMPN 10 Surabaya. The goal is to optimize social media as an effective, meaningful creative expression tool within a metropolitan context, while addressing risks like screen time management (Rohidi, 2014; Hakim et al., 2024). Framed by art education theory (Triyanto, 2017; Rohidi, 2014) and Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model (Mulyasa, 2014; Fathurrohman, 2016), qualitative methodology (Moleong, 2017) was applied from August to November 2024.
Data collection involved participant observation, interviews (with teachers and Grade VII students), and documentation, with validity ensured through source-time-method triangulation. Findings demonstrate that social media-integrated PJBL significantly enhanced student engagement, participation, and holistic competency development. Learners exhibited mastery in musical techniques (rhythm/harmony), regional song arrangement creativity, digital literacy (content packaging), and collaborative skills through ensemble projects. Critically, 86.7% of students achieved "Excellent" ratings across cognitive-psychomotor domains (scores 20–22/25) and affective domains (scores 23–25/25), concurrently strengthening cultural appreciation.
