Pengaruh Learning Ecosystem Berbasis Gamification Terhadap Motivasi Belajar dan Kemampuan Public Speaking Peserta Didik Mahesa Institute Pare Kediri

The Effect Of Gamification-Based Learning Ecosystem On Learning Motivation And Public Speaking Ability Of Students At Mahesa Institute Pare Kediri 

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kecakapan bahasa Inggris di Indonesia, khususnya dalam aspek public speaking. Fenomena tingginya animo masyarakat terhadap Kampung Inggris Pare menegaskan posisi pendidikan non-formal sebagai solusi krusial bagi kebutuhan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penciptaan lingkungan belajar adaptif guna menyeimbangkan perkembangan soft skill dan hard skill peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh Learning Ecosystem berbasis Gamification terhadap Motivasi Belajar, (2) pengaruh terhadap Kemampuan Public Speaking, dan (3) pengaruh secara simultan terhadap kedua variabel dependen tersebut.Penelitian tesis ini dilaksanakan di Mahesa Institute Pare Kediri menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 33 peserta didik yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear dan uji multivariat (MANOVA) untuk menentukan nilai signifikansi dan koefisien determinasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan sebagai berikut. Pertama, Learning Ecosystem berbasis Gamification berpengaruh positif terhadap Motivasi Belajar dengan nilai R Square 0,636 (63,6%). Tingginya pengaruh ini mengonfirmasi teori SDT bahwa lingkungan kondusif mempercepat respon psikologis. Kedua, pengaruh terhadap Kemampuan Public Speaking tergolong moderat dengan nilai R Square 0,298 (29,8%), di mana lingkungan berfungsi sebagai enabler namun penguasaan keterampilan tetap membutuhkan repetisi. Ketiga, uji multivariat membuktikan adanya pengaruh simultan yang signifikan dengan nilai Wilks' Lambda 0,333 (Sig. 0,000) serta kontribusi gabungan sebesar 66,7%. Disimpulkan bahwa perbaikan ekosistem pembelajaran efektif menstimulasi aspek kemauan dan kemampuan dalam satu kesatuan waktu sesuai perspektif ekologi Bronfenbrenner.

This research is motivated by the low proficiency of English in Indonesia, especially in the aspect of public speaking. The phenomenon of high public interest in Kampung Inggris Pare confirms the position of non-formal education as a crucial solution to these needs. Therefore, it is necessary to create an adaptive learning environment in order to balance the development of soft skills and hard skills of learners. This study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of Gamification-Based Learning Ecosystem on learning motivation, (2) the effect on Public Speaking skills, and (3) the simultaneous effect on the two dependent variables.This thesis research was conducted at Mahesa Institute Pare Kediri using a quantitative approach with the design of one group pre-test post-test. The sample of 33 students were determined through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression and multivariate test (MANOVA) to determine the significance value and coefficient of determination.The results showed the following findings. First, Gamification-based Learning Ecosystem has a positive effect on learning motivation with an R Square value of 0.636 (63.6%). This high influence confirms the SDT theory that conducive environments accelerate psychological responses. Second, the influence on Public Speaking ability is relatively moderate with R Square value of 0.298 (29.8%), where the environment serves as an enabler but mastery of skills still requires repetition. Third, multivariate test proved the existence of a significant simultaneous effect with the value of Wilks ' Lambda 0.333 (GIS. 0.000) and a combined contribution of 66.7%. It was concluded that the improvement of the learning ecosystem effectively stimulates the willingness and ability aspects in a single unit of time according to Bronfenbrenner's ecological perspective.
