Pengembangan E-modul Interaktif Berbasis Discovery Learning untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Literasi Sains Siswa SMA Kelas X

Development of Interactive E-Modul Based on Discovery Learning to Train Students Science Literacy Skills Class X High School

Pengembangan keterampilan literasi sains merupakan prioritas utama dalam capaian pembelajaran fase E di tingkat SMA. Berdasarkan laporan PISA 2022, keterampilan literasi sains siswa di Indonesia mengalami penurunan. Literasi sains perlu diterapkan dalam pembelajaran interaktif untuk mendukung penguasaan konsep materi ekosistem, salah satunya dengan penggunaan e-modul interaktif berbasis Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul interaktif berbasis Discovery Learning yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam melatihkan keterampilan literasi sains siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan uji coba terbatas dilakukan kepada 30 siswa kelas X-5 SMAN 1 Gedangan. Tingkat validitas e-modul diperoleh dari penilaian para validator, kepraktisan diukur melalui uji keterbacaan Grafik-Fry dan respon siswa, serta keefektifan dinilai dari hasil belajar siswa dan ketercapaian indikator literasi sains. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 99,67% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Uji keterbacaan menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas X, dan respon siswa menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 98% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Hasil belajar siswa memperoleh rata-rata nilai 88,06 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% pada sub materi komponen penyusun ekosistem dan rata-rata nilai 89,4 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% pada sub materi interaksi antar komponen ekosistem. Ketercapaian indikator literasi sains memperoleh rata-rata persentase capaian 88,21% pada sub materi komponen penyusun ekosistem dan memperoleh rata-rata persentase capaian 89,40% pada sub materi interaksi antar komponen ekosistem. Berdasarkan keseluruhan hasil tersebut, maka e-modul interaktif berbasis Discovery Learning dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

The development of science literacy skills is a top priority in achieving phase E learning at the high school level. Based on the PISA 2022 report, students' science literacy skills in Indonesia have declined. Science literacy needs to be applied in interactive learning to support mastery of ecosystem material concepts, one of which is by using interactive e-modules based on Discovery Learning. This study aims to develop interactive e-modules based on Discovery Learning that meet the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective in training the science literacy skills of grade X high school students. This study adopted the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model and limited trials were conducted on 30 grade X-5 students of SMAN 1 Gedangan. The level of validity of the e-module was obtained from the assessment of the validators, practicality was measured through the Fry-Graph readability test and student responses, and effectiveness was assessed from student learning outcomes and the achievement of science literacy indicators. The data were analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The validation results showed an average value of 99.67% which was included in the very valid category. The readability test showed that it was in accordance with the thinking skills of grade X students, and the students' responses showed a practicality level of 98% and were included in the very practical category. The students' learning outcomes obtained an average score of 88.06 with a completion percentage of 100% in the sub-material of ecosystem components and an average score of 89.4 with a completion percentage of 100% in the sub-material of interactions between ecosystem components. The achievement of the science literacy indicator obtained an average achievement percentage of 88.21% in the sub-material of ecosystem components and obtained an average achievement percentage of 89.40% in the sub-material of interactions between ecosystem components. Based on all these results, the interactive e-module based on Discovery Learning is declared suitable for use as a learning medium.
