Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal tanggal 29 Agustus 2018 di SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya dalam mata pelajaran Komputer dan Jaringan Dasar materi Merakit Laptop Kelas X Jurusan Multimedia, sekolah tersebut memiliki sarana dan prasarana, yakni LCD dan Proyektor yang sangat menunjang untuk kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Namun, ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung sarana dan prasarana tidak digunakan. Dari masalah yang ada ternyata menimbulkan dampak bagi siswa, dari 30 siswa dikelas Jurusan Multimedia terdapat 25 siswa yang mendapat nilai dibawah KKM ( Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal ) yang sudah ditetapkan SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya.
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Computer Assisted Instruction yang layak dan efektif tentang materi Merakit Laptop pada mata pelajaran Komputer dan Jaringan Dasar Kelas X Jurusan Multimedia SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE.
Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara terstruktur, angket dan tes siswa berupa tes unjuk kerja untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektifan dan kelayakan media Computer Assisted Instruction yang sedang dikembangkan dan menggunakan rumus postest only. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil yang didapatkan dari ahli materi sebesar 75%, sedangkan hasil yang didapatkan dari kedua ahli media sebesar 100%. Dari kedua perhitungan dari ahli materi dan ahli media termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Computer Assisted Instruction materi Merakit Laptop pada mata pelajaran Komputer dan Jaringan Dasar layak untuk digunakan dan diterapkan pada kegiatan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan data pada uji t didapatkan dari kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen terdapat perbedaan. Jika thitung ≥ ttabel maka Ho ditolak berarti signifikansi dan konsultasikan antara thitung dengan ttabel. Hasil yang diperoleh pada thitung > ttabel hasilnya adalah 2,967 > 2,000. Jadi, pada hasil pada posttest antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen memiliki perbedaan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Computer Assisted Instruction layak dan efektif diterapkan pada kegiatan proses pembelajaran materi Merakit Laptop pada mata pelajaran Komputer dan jaringan Dasar.

Based on the results of preliminary observations on 29 August 2018 at Vocational High School 6 Surabaya in Basic Computer and Network subjects the material for Assembling Class X Laptops in the Multimedia Department, the school has facilities and infrastructure, namely LCD and Projector which are very supportive for the teaching and learning activities. However, when the learning process takes place the facilities and infrastructure are not used. From the existing problems it turned out to have an impact on students, of the 30 students in the Multimedia Department class there were 25 students who scored under the KKM that had been determined by Vocational High School 6 Surabaya.
This development research aimed to develop an appropriate and an effective Computer Assisted Instruction media about material of assembling laptop on the subjects of Computer and Network Basic 10th grade of Multimedia Department at State Vocational High School 6 of Surabaya. The development model is used the ADDIE development model.
The data was collected are used structuring interviews, questionnaires and student tests in the form of performance tests to find out the level of effectiveness and feasibility from the Computer Assisted Instruction media that is being developed and only used the postest formula. The data analysis technique of the development research is used the t test. Based on the result of data analysis is obtained from material experts that is 75%, while the result is obtained from both the media experts that is 100%. From both the calculation of subject and media experts are included in the excellent category. So it can be concluded that Computer Assisted Instruction media for material of assembling laptop on the subjects of Computer and Network Basic is appropriate to be used and applied on the activity of the learning process. Based on the data in the t test that is obtained from the control and experimental class there are differences. If tcount ≥ ttable then Ho is rejected that is meant the significance and consult between t count with t table. The results is obtained in the result of t count> t table that is 2.967 > 2,000. So, the results of posttest between the control and experimental class had differences. So it can be concluded that the Computer Assisted Instruction media are appropriate and effective to be applied in the learning process activity for material of assembling laptop on the subjects of Computer and Network Basic.
