Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dengan strategi mind mapping merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan kesuksesan kelompok dalam bentuk penguasaan dan pemahaman materi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui 1) Keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran, 2) Aktivitas siswa, 3) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, 4) Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Tata Kecantikan 2 di SMK Negeri 2 Lumajang sebanyak 32 siswa yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data observasi, tes dan angket. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Keterlaksanaan sintaks pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 3,14 (sangat baik) dan pada siklus II sebesar 3,32 (sangat baik). 2) Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai rata-rata persentase 80% (baik) dan siklus II mencapai rata-rata persentase 95% (sangat baik). 3) Hasil belajar siswa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada siklus I secara klasikal sebesar 87,5% dinyatakan tuntas dan pada siklus II secara klasikal sebesar 100% dinyatakan tuntas, 5) Respon siswa mencapai persentase sebesar 95,3% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II pada keterlaksanaan sintaks meningkat sebesar 0,18, aktivitas siswa meningkat sebesar 15%, dan hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 12,5%.

Think pair share a cooperative learning model with mind mapping strategy is learning the model that emphasizes group success in the form of mastery and understanding of the material. The purpose of this study was to decide 1) The implementation of the syntax of the learning model, 2) Student activities, 3) Improvement of student learning outcomes, 4) Student responses to the learning model. This type of research is Classroom Actions Research. The subjects of the study were 32 students of Beauty Procedure 2 in State Vocational High School 2 Lumajang, which were conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The data collection method uses observation, test and questionnaire data. The data in this study are quantitative data and analyzed descriptively. The results of this study show 1) The implementation of the syntax in the first cycle obtained an average of 3,14 (very good) and in the second cycle of 3,32 (very good), 2) Student activities in the first cycle reached an average percentage of 80% (good) and the second cycle reached an average percentage of 95% (very good), 3) Student learning outcomes there was a significant increase in the first cycle classically by 87,5% declared complete and in the second cycle was 100% classically declared complete, 5) The student response reached a percentage of 95,3% (very good). Based on these results, there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II in the implementation of syntax increasing by 0,18, student activity increased by 15%, and learning outcomes increased by 12,5%.
