THE APPLICATION OF TUCKING BALEN EMBELLISHMENTS ON EVENING GOWNS AND MEN'S CLOTHING
The application of embellishments on clothing is an essential aspect of the fashion industry, aimed at enhancing the beauty and allure of garments. One common technique used is Tucking, involving the manipulation of fabric through sewn folds to create visually appealing effects. These embellishments can be applied to various types of attire, including evening gowns and men's clothing. Evening gowns, as symbols of elegance and sophistication, are often adorned with Tucking balen to create captivating appearances. Meanwhile, men's attire has also seen advancements in design and the use of embellishments, especially in jacket construction. This research utilizes the Double Diamond Design Process method to develop Tucking balen embellishments for both types of attire. The process involves stages of discovery, definition, development, and delivery, resulting in intriguing and elegant clothing prototypes. The final outcome of this study indicates that Tucking balen embellishments hold significant potential in creating enchanting and luxurious party attire, suitable for both women and men. Future research can further explore other embellishment techniques and their application to various types of clothing to broaden understanding of innovation in the fashion industry.
