PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan penerapan model discovery learning dalam pembelajaran dan mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lebo semester 2 tahun ajaran 2020/2021 pada masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental design yang melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan teknik pengambilan sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas peserta didik, penilaian hasil belajar ranah afektif, psikomotor dan kognitif. Penialaian tersebut memperoleh hasil belajar dengan rata-rata persentase ≥75%. Sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada ranah kognitif dinyatakan 28% tuntas untuk hasil pretest sedangkan 57% dinyatakan tuntas untuk hasil posttsest. Skor nilai N-Gain hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 0,371. Berdasarkan hasil uji beda hasil belajar (Uji T) diperoleh thitung > ttabel (2,070>1,662). Artinya gain hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Maka dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bagi guru dan calon guru dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh.

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the discovery learning model in online learning and determine whether there is an influence of the discovery learning model on the learning outcomes obtained by the fifth-grade students of Lebo State Elementary School in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used a quasi-experimental design involving the experimental group and the control group with a saturated sampling technique. The data were collected using an instrument of observation of teacher activities, student activities, assessment of learning outcomes in the affective, psychomotor and cognitive domains. The assessment obtained learning outcomes with an average percentage of ≥75%. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of students in the cognitive domain were stated to be 28% complete for the pretest results while 57% were declared complete for the posttest results. The score of the N-Gain value of students' learning outcomes is 0,371. Based on the results of the different learning outcomes test (T-test) obtained tcount > ttable (2,070>1,662). This means that the gain in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class there is a significant difference. It can be concluded that the discovery learning model significantly better than conventional learning in improving student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the discovery learning model on student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be used as an alternative for teachers and prospective teachers in distance learning.
