The widespread of Covid-19 not only impacts on health and the fall in
fatalities but also threatens the economy and social communities. Since the
Covid-19 Pandemic that entered Indonesia in March 2020 traders in Campurejo
Market have experienced a change in revenue due to PSBB policy. If the Covid-19
pandemic does not end soon the condition of traders in Campurejo Market will be
more difficult so researchers are interested in making research with the aim of
knowing the amount of changes in the income of traders in the Market Campurejo
Panceng District Gresik after the Covid-19 and the impact of changes in income
caused to the life of the merchant's family.
This research is a descriptive study with respondents traders in
Campurejo Market which includes clothing traders, fish traders, meat traders,
fruit and vegetable traders, dry traders, and food traders as many as two
respondents each. Data on the decline of traders and the impact of the decrease
in revenue are known by interviews, while the data on the number of kiosks and
the number of traders are taken from market inventory data obtained from the
Campurejo Village Market Office. Data on the state of the market was obtained
from the observation of researchers in Campurejo Market, Panceng Subdistrict,
Gresik. The data obtained is analyzed descriptively.
The results showed that there was a change in merchant income during
Covid-19. Campurejo Market traders experienced a decrease in revenue by 20-25%.
The decrease in the income of traders of
Campurejo market Subdistrict Panceng Gresik during Covid-19 has affected
the instability of meeting their family's daily needs, one of which is in terms
of daily meals and children's school fees. The change in income experienced by
market traders has a considerable impact on their household life because
trading in Campurejo Market is the main job.
