Development of Adaptive Stylus Pen Media for Intellectually Impaired Students
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media stylus pen yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi peserta didik tunagrahita serta mengetahui kelayakan media yang dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi pembelajaran tunagrahita.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan pengembangan, yaitu Analisis (Analyze), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementation), dan Evaluasi (Evaluating). Namun dalam penelitian ini, tahapan pengembangan hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan (Development) produk media pembelajaran.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan produk media berupa stylus pen yang dikembangkan untuk peserta didik tunagrahita berdasarkan hasil penilaian: 1) Ahli media memperoleh skor total 91,00 dari 28 indikator penilaian yang termasuk dalam kriteria “Baik” dengan persentase 81,25% yang termasuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”, 2) Ahli Materi diperoleh skor total 82,00 dari 23 indikator yang termasuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” dengan persentase 89% yang termasuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”, serta 3) Praktisi pembelajaran tunagrahita diperoleh skor total (rata-rata akumulasi) 108,6 dari 30 indikator yang termasuk dalam kriteria “sangat baik” dengan persentase 90,5% yang termasuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Dengan demikian, media yang dikembangkan berupa stylus pen untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus bagi peserta didik tunagrahita layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran motorik halus bagi peserta didik tunagrahita.

This development research aims to develop stylus pen media that is adapted to the needs and conditions of students with intellectual disabilities and determine the suitability of the media developed based on the assessment of media experts, material experts and practitioners of learning with intellectual disabilities.
This research is an R&D (Research and Development) development research with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 development stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. However, in this research, the development stage only reached the development stage of the learning media product.
The research results show that the feasibility of a media product in the form of a stylus pen developed for mentally retarded students is based on the assessment results: 1) Media experts obtained a total score of 91.00 from 28 assessment indicators which are included in the "Good" criteria with a percentage of 81.25% which is included in "Very Decent" criteria, 2) Material Experts obtained a total score of 82.00 from 23 indicators included in the "Very Good" criteria with a percentage of 89% included in the "Very Decent" criteria, and 3) Mentally retarded learning practitioners obtained a total score ( accumulated average) 108.6 out of 30 indicators included in the "very good" criteria with a percentage of 90.5% included in the "Very Eligible" criteria. Thus, the media developed in the form of a stylus pen to improve fine motor skills for mentally retarded students is suitable for use as a fine motor learning medium for mentally retarded students.
