Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan buku ajar, mengetahui kelayakan dari para ahli dan respon peserta didik terhadap buku ajar berbasis saintifik mata pelajaran otomatisasi tata kelola sarana dan Prasarana untuk siswa kelas XI Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran di SMK Ketintang Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate) akan tetapi penelitian yang dilaksanakan peneliti tidak sampai pada tahap penyebaran karena tujuannya hanya sebatas mengetahui kelayakan dan respon terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 peserta didik kelas XI OTKP 3 di SMK Ketintang Surabaya. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan pada mata pelajaran Otomatisasi Tata Kelolas Sarana dan Prasarana termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dari segi aspek materi, bahasa dan kegrafikan memperoleh total persentase sebesar 93%. Masing-masing persentase dari ahli materi 84% mendapat interpretasi kriteria sangat layak, persentase dari ahli Bahasa 95% dengaan sangat layak dan persentase dari ahli kegrafikan 100% dengan kategori sangat layak. Serta hasil tanggapan siswa yaitu sebesar 89% mendapat interpretasi kriteria sangat menarik dengan demikian, buku ajar berbasis saintifik pada Mata Pelajaran Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Sarana dan Prasarana Kelas XI OTKP di SMK Ketintang Surabaya memperoleh hasil pengembangan ini sangat layak dan sangat menarik sehingga dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Sarana dan Prasarana.

This study aims to determine the process of developing textbooks, determine the feasibility of experts and students' responses to science-based textbooks for automation of facilities and infrastructure management for XI grade students in Automation and Office Governance in SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This type of research is a development study that uses a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate) but the research conducted by researchers did not reach the deployment stage because the aim was limited to knowing the feasibility and response to the developed textbooks. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class XI OTKP 3 at SMK Ketintang Surabaya. The results of the study showed that the textbooks developed in the subject of Automation of Facilities and Infrastructure Management were included in the category of very feasible in terms of material, language and graphic aspects, obtaining a total percentage of 93%. Each percentage of material experts 84% got a very decent interpretation criteria, the percentage of linguists 95% with a very decent and the percentage of 100% skilled experts with a very decent category. As well as the results of student responses that is equal to 89% get very interesting interpretation criteria, so the scientific-based textbooks on Automation and Facility Management Subjects Class XI OTKP at SMK Ketintang Surabaya find the results of this development very feasible and very interesting so that it can be used by participants students in teaching and learning activities Automation of Facilities and Infrastructure Management.
