Penciptaan desain busana pesta malam dengan sumber ide bunga aster

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penciptaan desain busana, proses pembuatan busana pesta malam, dan hasil jadi busana dengan sumber ide bunga aster. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Double Diamond Design Proses yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap discover merupakan eksplororasi tema yang dibahas pada penelitian ini adalah “bunga aster” dengan bentuk  yang hampir menyerupai bintang, mulai dari bulat sampai mirip cakram, helaian bunganya yang tersusun membentuk lingkaran yang disesuaikan dengan sumber ide. Tahap define merupakan hasil yang diperoleh dari penerapan suatu sumber ide pada sebuah karya yang berupa moodboard, kemudian menciptakan basic design. Tahap develop yaitu tahap pengembangan dan pemilihan desain. Tahap deliver merupakan tahap perwujudan desain. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan mean. Instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan uji ahli dengan 7 orang responden dari fashion designer, praktisi dan ahli desain. Hasil penelitian mengetahui proses pembuatan busana pesta malam dengan sumber ide bunga aster. Secara keseluruhan hasil dalam kategori yang sangat baik.

The purpose of this study was to find out the process of creating an evening party dress design with the source of the daisy idea. The method used is the Double Diamond Design Process (Ledbury, 2017), which consists of 4 stages, namely the discover stage which is an exploration of the theme discussed in this study is the "aster flower" whose appearance is almost star-like, from round to disc-like. , strands of flowers arranged to form a circle adapted to the inspiration picture. The define stage is the result obtained from applying a source of ideas to a work in the form of a moodboard, then creating a basic design. The develop stage is the design development stage with inspiration pictures that emerge from the source of ideas to be realized in the form of an L silhouette on the dress, a long, dangling cape showing a crown of asterflower and sprinkled with sequins as a fashion decoration. This sequin decoration aims to give a luxurious and sparkling effect to the clothing decoration according to the inspiration picture. The deliver stage is one of the best design developments and most suitable for the inspiration picture and theme. The results of the study show that to make the party dress, it is necessary to determine the design development on the silhouette of the dress and cape so that it matches the style of the party dress and the inspiration picture.
