This
study aims to explore the moderating role of self control and work procedures
in the relationship between cyberloafing and employee performance. This study
used a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 employees from the Dinas Kebudayaan, Kepemudaan, Dan
Olahraga Serta Pariwisata of Surabaya
City, (DISBUDPORAPAR). Data were analyzed using Smart PLS 3.0 software to test
the relationship between variables. The findings show Cyberloafing has a
significant positive influence on the performance variable in this model,
although the effect is relatively small (coefficient 0.161). Work Procedure as
a moderating variable has a negative influence on the relationship between the
Cyberloafing variable and the Employee Performance variable. Self control does
not significantly alter or moderate the relationship between Cyberloafing and
employee performance.
