Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model reciprocal teaching terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Sooko 2 Kecamatan Sooko Kabupaten Mojokerto pada tahun pelajaran 2018/2019.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent (pretest and posttest) control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen (IV A) dan kelas kontrol (IV B). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar Instrumen aktivitas dan lembar tes hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent samples t-test.
Data penelitian menunjukkan: hasil analisis normalitas di kelas eksperimen adalah 0,164 dan di kelas kontrol 0,149. Kedua kelompok memiliki signifikansi> 0,05 atau 0,5%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa data untuk setiap kelompok berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji homogenitas diperoleh nilai homogenitas dari hasil belajar siswa menghasilkan nilai signifikan 0,661. Jumlah signifikansi> 0,05. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa varian sampel homogen. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 84, 00 dan kelas kontrol adalah 59,75. Kemudian dengan melihat hasil uji independent sample T-test diperoleh bahwa (t-hitung) adalah 7, 248 dan (t-tabel) 1,686. Jika kita melakukan perbandingan t-hitung 7,248> t-tabel 1,686 dan hasil sig. 2 adalah 0,000> 0,05 sehingga Ho menyangkal itu berarti ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) model reciprocal teaching berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar; 2) model reciprocal teaching berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar

This study aims to determine the effect of the reciprocal teaching model on social studies activities and learning outcomes of Grade IV elementary school students. This research was conducted at SDN Sooko 2, Sooko District, Mojokerto Regency in the 2018/2019 school year.
This study uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is an experimental study with a non equivalent (pretest and posttest) control group design. This study uses two classes namely the experimental class (IV A) and the control class (IV B). The research instrument used was the activity instrument sheet and student learning outcomes test sheet. Data analysis techniques used include normality test, homogeneity test, and independent samples t-test.
The research data shows: normality analysis results in the experimental class are 0.164 and in the control class 0.149. Both groups had significance> 0.05 or 0.5%. So, it can be concluded that the data for each group is normally distributed. Homogeneity test results obtained homogeneity values from student learning outcomes produce a significant value of 0.661. The amount of significance> 0.05. So, it can be concluded that the sample variant is homogeneous. The average value of the experimental class was 84.00 and the control class was 59.75. Then by looking at the results of the independent sample T-test it was found that (t-count) was 7, 248 and (t-table) 1.686. If we do the comparison of the t-test 7.248> t-table 1.686 and the result of sig. 2 is 0,000> 0.05 so Ho denies that means there is a significant difference. The results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class.
The conclusions of this study are: 1) the reciprocal teaching model influences the activities of grade IV elementary school students; 2) the reciprocal teaching model influences the social studies learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students.
