WORK READINESS FOR STUDENTS OF KRIAN 1 SIDOARJO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EXPERTISE PROGRAM TO WORK IN THE ERA OF INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0
ABSTRAK
Revolusi industri 4.0 pada saat ini sudah berlangsung, Revolusi Industri 4.0 merupakan industri yang menggabungkan teknologi otomatisasi dengan teknologi cyber-fisik. Sesuai dengan tujuan Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang dicetuskan oleh Profesor Klaus Schwab, seorang ekonom Jerman dan pendiri World Economic Forum, bahwa dunia akan difokuskan pada peningkatan produksi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi terkini. Kemajuan teknologi semakin cepat maka manusia seharusnya mampu beradaptasi lebih cepat. Tantangan dan peluang industri 4.0 sangat berdampak dalam kehidupan masyarakat, salah satunya permasalahannya yaitu pengangguran.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Kesiapan Siswa SMK Krian 1 menghadapi Revolusi Industri 4.0.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah expost facto. Variabel dalam penelitian ini Complex Problem Solving (X1), Creativity (X2), People manajemen diri (X3), Coordinating with order (X4), comunication (X5) dan easy adaptation (X6) dan kesiapan kerja (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 410 siswa kelas XII Program keahllian Teknik Permesinan SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 82 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket dan test kinerja. Data tersebut diolah dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (regresi).
Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) ada hubungan positif memecahkan masalah terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan nilai korelasi 0,480, (2) ada hubungan positif kreatifitas siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan nilai korelasi 0,506, (3) ada hubungan positif manajemen diri siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan nilai korelasi 0,587, (4) ada hubungan positif kerjasama tim, terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan nilai korelasi 0,634, (5) ada hubungan positif komunikasi siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan nilai korelasi 0,686, (6) ada hubungan positif adaptasi diri siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan nilai korelasi 0,461 , (7) dari enam variabel Yang berkontribusi paling besar adalah keterampilan komunikasi dan yang berkontribusi paling kecil adalah keterampilan adaptasi diri.

The industrial revolution 4.0 is currently underway, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is an industry that combines automation technology with cyber-physical technology. In accordance with the objectives of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 put forward by Professor Klaus Schwab, a German economist and founder of the World Economic Forum, that the world will be focused on increasing production by utilizing the latest technology. Technological progress is getting faster, so humans should be able to adapt faster. The challenges and opportunities for industry 4.0 have a very significant impact on people's lives, one of which is unemployment. The purpose of this study is to determine the Readiness of Krian 1 Vocational School Students to face the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
This type of research used in this research is ex post facto. The variables in this study are Complex Problem Solving (X1), Creativity (X2), People self-management (X3), Coordinating with order (X4), communication (X5) and easy adaptation (X6) and job readiness (Y). The population in this study were 410 students of class XII of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. The number of samples in this study were 82 students who were taken using a proportional random sampling technique. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire instrument and performance test. The data is processed by data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistics (regression).
The results of this study are (1) there is a positive relationship solving problems with work readiness with a correlation value of 0.480, (2) there is a positive relationship between student creativity and work readiness with a correlation value of 0.506, (3) there is a positive relationship between student self-management and work readiness with a value correlation 0.587, (4) there is a positive relationship between teamwork, work readiness with a correlation value of 0.634, (5) there is a positive relationship between student communication and work readiness with a correlation value of 0.686, (6) there is a positive relationship between students' self-adaptation towards work readiness and value correlation 0.461, (7) Of the six variables the highest contributing is communication skills and the lowest contributing is self-adaptation skills.
