Pengembangan Modul Menggambar Ilustrasi dengan Teknik Grid melalui Aplikasi Drawing Grid Maker di SMPN 8 Gresik

Development of an Illustration Drawing Module With the Grid Technique Through the Drawing Grid Maker Application at SMPN 8 Gresik

Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Seni Budaya oleh guru dalam materi menggambar ilustrasi di kelas VIII C SMPN 8 Gresik pada saat observasi masih berupa buku paket panduan guru. Buku tersebut sekaligus berfungsi sebagai penyampai materi kepada peserta didik dengan cara memfoto pada bagian penjelasan dan langkah-langkah berkarya lalu dibagikan melalui grup WhatsApp kelas. Hal tersebut masih dilakukan mengingat belum tersedianya media seperti buku atau modul untuk peserta didik yang menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat dalam memahami dan praktik berkarya menggambar ilustrasi. Disamping itu pemanfaatan media pendamping berbasis aplikasi juga penting dengan harapan membantu dan menambah pengalaman baru bagi peserta didik dalam materi menggambar ilustrasi. Sehingga dengan dasar permasalahan tersebut peneliti menetapkan tujuan dari penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses pengembangan modul menggambar ilustrasi dengan teknik grid melalui aplikasi Drawing Grid Maker di SMPN 8 Gresik dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana hasil pengembangan modul menggambar ilustrasi dengan teknik grid melalui aplikasi Drawing Grid Maker di SMPN 8 Gresik.

Proses pengembangan modul menggambar ilustrasi dengan teknik grid melalui aplikasi Drawing Grid Maker menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan diantaranya pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), penyebaran (disseminate). Proses pengambilan data melalui metode observasi, wawancara, kuisioner (lembar angket validasi media, materi dan respon peserta didik) serta dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dari hasil lembar angket validasi dan penilaian peserta didik kemudian diubah ke dalam data kualitatif yang menggunakan skala likert dari jumlah skor yang diperoleh nantinya akan dianalisis menggunakan persentase dengan rumus menurut Sugiyono.

Hasil rata-rata kevalidan media dalam modul berdasarkan penilaian validator media sebesar 83,57% dengan kategori sangat baik, hasil rata-rata validasi materi berdasarkan validator penilaian validator materi sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil rata-rata respon peserta didik terhadap modul adalah sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan modul menggambar ilustrasi dengan teknik grid melalui aplikasi Drawing Grid Maker di SMPN 8 Gresik menunjukkan hasil dengan kategori sangat baik.

The use of Cultural Arts learning media by the teacher in the material for drawing illustrations in class VIII C of SMPN 8 Gresik at the time of observation was only in the form of a teacher's guide book. The book also functions as a conveyer of material to students by taking photos in the explanation section and work steps and then sharing them through the class WhatsApp group. This is still being done considering the unavailability of media such as books or modules for students, which is one of the inhibiting factors in understanding and practicing drawing illustrations. Besides that, the use of application-based companion media is also important in the hope of facilitating and adding new experiences for students in drawing illustration materials. So on the basis of these problems, the researcher set the aim of the study to describe the process of developing a module to draw illustrations using the grid technique through the drawing grid maker application at SMPN 8 Gresik and the results of developing the module to draw illustrations using the grid technique through the drawing grid maker application at SMPN 8 Gresik.

The module development process draws illustrations using the grid technique through the drawing grid maker application using the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan, including defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The process of collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires (media validation questionnaire sheets, materials, and student responses), and documentation While the data analysis technique from the results of validation questionnaires and students' assessments was then converted into qualitative data using a Likert scale from the number of scores obtained later to be analyzed using percentages with the formula according to Sugiyono.

The average result of media validity in the module based on the assessment of the media validator is 83.57% in the very good category, and the average result of material validation based on the material validator's assessment is 90% in the very good category. The average result of the student's response to the module is 96% in the very good category. The results of the research and development of the module for drawing illustrations using the grid technique through the drawing grid maker application at SMPN 8 Gresik show very good results.
