Pengaruh Self Efficacy Terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik Dalam Menyelesaikan Tugas Selama Pembelajaran Daring Pada Remaja Di Sidoarjo

The Effect of Self Efficacy on Academic Procrastination in Completing Tasks During Online Learning for Adolescents in Sidoarjo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kategori self efficacy dan prokrastinasi akademik siswa serta melihat besarnya pengaruh self efficacy terhadap prokrastinasi akademik siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas selama pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan berupa penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan model regresi. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan teknik sampling insidental dimana sampelnya berjumlah 398 siswa. Instrumen pengambilan data berupa General Self Efficacy (GSE) dan prokrastinasi akademik yang disebar secara online menggunakan google form. Analisis data memanfaatkan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasilnya, self efficacy siswa secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori sedang dengan presentase 59%, sedangkan prokrastinasi akademik berada pada kategori sedang dengan presentase 48%. Selanjutnya analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa, nilai F hitung adalah 314,996 dengan taraf signifikan senilai 0,00 kurang dari 0,05 maka didapat kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh variabel self efficacy terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Berarti, self efficacy siswa yang semakin tinggi maka tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa tersebut akan semakin rendah. Kebalikannya, self efficacy siswa yang semakin rendah, maka tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa akan semakin tinggi.

This study aims to determine the categories of students 'academic self-efficacy and procrastination and to see the magnitude of the influence of self-efficacy on students' academic procrastination in completing tasks during online learning. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research with a regression model. This study used incidental sampling techniques where the sample amounted to 398 students. The data collection instruments were General Self Efficacy (GSE) and academic procrastination which were distributed online using google form. Data analysis used simple regression analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS 16.0 for windows application. As a result, the overall student self-efficacy was in the medium category with a percentage of 59%, while academic procrastination was in the medium category with a percentage of 48%. Furthermore, the simple regression analysis shows that, the calculated F value is 314.996 with a significant level of 0.00 less than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the self-efficacy variable on academic procrastination. This means that the higher the student's self-efficacy, the lower the level of academic procrastination of the student. On the contrary, the lower the student's self-efficacy, the higher the student's academic procrastination level.
