Application of Guided Inquiry Learning Model to Train Students' Scientific Literacy on Chemical Equilibrium Material
Pada peralihan era transisi industri 4.0 ke era society 5.0 peserta didik diharuskan untuk mempunyai keterampilan abad 21. Didalam keterampilan abad 21 terdapat keterampilan literasi digital dan termuat didalamnya keterampilan literasi sains. Berdasarkan hasil studi kasus literasi sains SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB memiliki nilai 23,6% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Hasil studi kasus literasi sains sinkron dengan data lembaga survey PISA yang menyatakan Indonesia mendapat ranking 73 dari 79 negara partisipan. Berdasarkan data rendahnya literasi sains maka diperlukan tindakan agar literasi sains peserta didik dapat terlatih. Subjek penelitian merupakan peserta didik SMA Muhamadiyah GKB dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat melatihkan literasi sains karena dalam sintaksnya dapat menjabarkan komponen literasi sains. Untuk itu peneliti ingin mendeskripsikan empat hal dalam melatihkan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi kesetimbangan kimia yakni keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, aktivitas peserta didik dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional, dan respon peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran versi inkuiri terbimbing lebih berpengaruh dalam melatihkan literasi sains daripada versi konvensional.
