IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM SEKOLAH ALAM SEBAGAI PENANAMAN KARAKTER PADA PKBM SEKOLAH ALAM YAKASE JOMBANG
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATURE SCHOOL CURRICULUM TO BUILD CHARACTER IN PKBM SEKOLAH ALAM YAKASE JOMBANG
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman karakter peserta didik melalui proses perumusan tujuan, materi, metode, organisasi dan evaluasi kurikulum PKBM Sekolah Alam YAKASE. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Untuk mengetahui implementasi kurikulum di PKBM Sekolah Alam YAKASE, penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan tenaga pengajar, observasi meliputi kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah alam, dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan keabsahan data dalam penelitian menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi teknik. Secara rinci hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; pertama, tujuan dari kurikulum PKBM Sekolah Alam YAKASE memberikan kebebasan peserta didik dalam menggali potensi bakat dan minatnya dan meningkatkan kualitas peserta didik dalam segi akhlaqul karimah; kedua, materi dijelaskan menjadi empat bagian yang digambarkan dengan mengasah kemampuan sesuai minat dan bakatnya, teknik komunikasi, perkembangan materi dan perkembangan akhlak.; ketiga, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan meliputi diskusi, permainan dan pembiasaan; keempat, organisasi tersusun menjadi kelas dasar, kelas akademik dan kelas skill; kelima, evaluasi melalui tes dan pengamatan dari fasilitator atau pendamping.
This research determine to describe the character implementation of students through the process of formulating objectives, materials, methods, organization and evaluation of the PKBM Natural School YAKASE curriculum. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. To find out the implementation of the curriculum in the PKBM Natural School YAKASE, this research used the research method of interviews with school principals and teaching staff, observations included learning activities in natural schools, and documentation studies. While the validity of the data in the study used triangulation of data sources and triangulation of techniques. In detail, the research results prove that; first, the purpose of the PKBM Natural School YAKASE curriculum is to give students the freedom to explore their potential talents and interests and improve the quality of students in terms of akhlaqul karimah; second, the material is explained into four parts which are described by honing abilities according to their interests and talents, communication techniques, material development and moral development; third, the learning methods used include discussions, games and habituation; fourth, the organization is structured into basic classes, academic classes and skills classes; fifth, evaluation through tests and observations from the facilitator or companion.
