THE IMPACT OF INFRASTRUCTURE, LABOR FORCE, AND MARKET SIZE ON DOMESTIC INVESTMENT IN INDONESIA
Investasi dalam negeri, sebagai salah satu komponen utama pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, mengalami ketimpangan yang perlu diteliti faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh infrastruktur, angkatan kerja, dan market size terhadap investasi dalam negeri pada 34 provinsi di Indonesia di tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan regresi linear berganda data cross-section serta menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur, yang direpresentasikan oleh persentase kemantapan jalan, serta market size, yang direpresentasikan oleh nilai Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada investasi dalam negeri berupa Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri (PMDN). Adapun angkatan kerja yang direpresentasikan oleh jumlah angkatan kerja, memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap PMDN, tetapi tidak signifikan secara statistik.

Domestic investment, as one of the main components of Indonesia's economic growth, is experiencing disparities that need to be investigated for their underlying causes. This study aims to determine the impact of infrastructure, labor force, and market size on domestic investment in 34 provinces of Indonesia in 2023. The research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression on cross-sectional data, utilizing secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that infrastructure, represented by the percentage of road stability, and market size, represented by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) value, have a positive and significant impact on domestic investment (PMDN). Meanwhile, the labor force, represented by the number of labor force, has a negative but statistically insignificant effect on domestic investment.
